I was on the “vanilla ice project” when I used to do marine construction with docks and sea walls. Rob was actually a very cool dude. True Floridian. Got his hands dirty with us setting pilings. He also had a big party for us with (if I remember correctly) “tacos Al Carbon” all you could eat for free. Drinks ect. Truly a great experience. His partner Wes Kain was a bit cocky lol. Big ego. But that’s normal here in Florida 😂 happy to see him still grinding away. #docksandmoreconstruction

I applaud Rob, as he was so unhappy with life in the early 2000's. He had his metal album (which was great), but he was so angry at his past. Somewhere along the way, he accepted it, and his life, and his music became awesome to everyone again. He is such a good guy.

@@TheNewRevolution What are talking did you even watch the clip? The man said he thought it was some random mfers off the street and if he knew it was steve-o he wouldn't have done that. You must not own your own home or have a nice lawn. Vehicles are heavy and they'll compact the dirt creating bumps and ruts. Mufflers are hot and they kill the grass. These nice homes have sprinkler systems and you can't drive a vehicle over them. Some people actually take pride in the way their home and yard looks and don't want mfers driving in them fucking them up. It's not that hard to stay on what's paved.

@BlutoMindpretzel72 you are not wrong about death metal, that did advance music and was probably the pinnacle of technical ability. The rest was just the start of a fast decline of ability. There is close zero merit in rap. Grunge is what you learn to play until you are good enough to play real music. Punk is if you never get good enough to play real music but still want to play. Pop is where you go if you have a big arse and tits

7 million in the United States per RIAA. I think I've read an article where it sold 14 million in total worldwide. But the idea that Ice is a one hit one is not factual. He did have a gold single with "Play that Funky Music (White Boy)" so he had two hits and got a plaque for the Ninja Turtles 2 soundtrack. Also, his critically panned live album did go gold.

Vanilla Ice (Rob Van Winkle) Speaker Biography His worldwide album sales are over 15 million and individual songs total over 160 million and are still selling. Vanilla Ice won 2 MTV Awards, a People's Choice Award, and was nominated for a Grammy. Not sure where he got 600 million number from. I'll look more into it! Love Vanilla Ice.

Same. I’m a huge fan and wish him all the success in the world, but 600 Million ALBUMS sold? No way. Maybe, MAYBE 600 Million singles of the song, “Ice Ice Baby.” And that would have to be worldwide sells combined.

Love Vanilla Ice, without a doubt. Even his rasta phase, but per RIAA To the Extreme has sold 7 million copies in the U.S. 600 million...even world wide there's now way...but he, hyperbole aside, Ice is dope. He schooled it.
