chocodiva05 I don't have the passion for this to put up an argument but I know almost for sure that what Anthony would say is that the reason people think "black male" when a crime is reported is because there is a much higher crime rate per male in the black community when it comes to robberies, murder, assault and those types of crimes. Maybe the reason people think "black male" when they hear about those crimes is the same reason they think "white male" when they hear about a kid being molested or a school shooting. The problem with those Socialist countries such as Sweden is that their Socialist policies are failing them. They have mass immigrations of people from third world countries that leech of the system, and that system is starting to buckle under the weight. They have Somalians and Muslims that stay on their Welfare system and contribute NOTHING. The U.S is also starting to buckle under the weight of dead beats that contribute shit to society. We have Welfare generations raising new generations of welfare recipients. We have people who can't even afford to feed themselves and yet they keep popping out children like a Pez Dispenser. You can't have a stable, growing economy on a Welfare State. I do agree on much of what you said, we have Socialist programs that do work for the betterment of Society, but we need to end this Welfare State, we need to help people help themselves and STOP supporting people. You fail, you starve. Capitalism just like Socialism looks great on paper, but when you throw a tyrannical Government and corrupt Corporatist into the mix they both fail. If anything, we should destroy the Corporate grip on this country, only way to do that is by prohibiting companies from getting too big by encouraging more competition and supporting and protecting the small business that provide those competitions.

Grendel Wolf I haven't been to Sweden in some time nor do I follow much of their current politic situation but if the sophistry on the right is as intense as it is here in the US than I imagine it's more likely rooted in fear mongering than facts. I agree, their is no perfect system but this idea that the world needs more unfettered capitalism is as ridicules as the suggestion that Scandinavian countries are communist or the very least socialist. I back you 100% in respects to breaking the corp. grip/monopoly they have in politics, particularly the US. The state tax is 8.82 percent on taxable income of more than 500k & when you tally all the other taxes the one percent pay somewhere in the ballpark of 40%or slightly less. Harvard did a recent study that shows "immigrants put more into the healthcare system than they take out." Google the quotations for the article which does link you to the study itself. The reality is, hospitals are more financially burdened by Americans who are under insured or not insured at all & as a result do not seek preventive care thus increasing the likelihood of suffering from sever illnesses that could have otherwise been easily remedied & as a result passing the exorbitant & needless bills onto taxpayers, There should be no reason that 18k Americans (citizens) die each year because they don't have health insurance. While many more suffer.(latter stats by Institute of Medicine.) As for the disease they bring w/ them...we aren't Tripods from the novel, The War of The Worlds who have to worry about non-immunity. This sounds like a classic example of fear mongering & in reality there is no need for since we all agree there is an problem associated w/ illegal immigration. 999across I'm Swedish and I pay 30% in taxes. Some 30 years ago I would have been fine with that but today, not really. I'm basically paying for some scumbag to sit on his ass and abuse the system. If you live in e.g. New York you're basically paying the same amount. The taxes themselves might not be as high but it adds up when you pay healthcare insurance. Of course you have the 'option' to NOT pay insurance but that's not really an option for anyone with some sense of responsibility.
