When I was blind I used to listen to this song and give me hope especially the line ... lightning strikes maybe once maybe twice and lights up the night... I still see your Bright Eyes. I've since had two corneal transplants and can once again see. STILL, this song still absolutely comforts me whenever I need it. THANK YOU STEVIE LOVE YOUR SONGS SO SO MUCH. every time I open my eyes to see I never take it for granted and I think of the lines in Belladonna COME IN OUT OF THE DARKNESS ✨💛✨

When i saw fleetwood mac in phoenix, stevie told us what this song was about. She said that when she was young, there was this yuppie clothing store in the haight ashbury district that she used to hang out in, but it the time she was too broke to buy anything. It had a unique painted floor that she loved, and it was the kind ofcplace that grace slick from jefferson airplaine and janis joplin went to find thier stage clothes. Stevie told us that when FM first made it big, one of the first things she did was go back to that store and buy herself something. The gypsy in the song is her younger self, and this is her own personal victory song.

"To a room with some lace and paper flowers" is a description of the single room apartment that she and Lindsay shared. They were so poor, she made flowers and lace out of paper. It passed the time and it decorated their humble dwelling. They were gypsies. I adore the concept.

I was 14 when I listened to Rumours for the first time and heard Stevie’s hauntingly beautiful voice. I am 57 now and she has been my favorite female artist and Fleetwood Mac my favorite band for almost my entire life. I feel that Gypsy was the best music video they ever made and it’s still one of my favorite songs. I’ve never felt such a deep connection to anyone else’s music and I’ll carry Stevie and the members of FM in my heart forever.

funny... sounds like my own story...discovered Stevie and Fleetwood Mac when I was 13...she is my favorite singer ever since and Fleetwood Mac my favorite band... always felt like she is my soulmate sister of the moon😄

Ditto! Ditto! She's been, as well as FM, one of my foremost favorites since junior high! I would "escape" to her 'safe place in music' when my own world felt like it was falling apart (which was often when I was an overly sensitive teenager..lol!) I've loved her on and off the stage. She taught me how to accept myself just as I was back then....and especially now, too, at 55. Such a role model...she touches my spirit every time I hear her, still, to this day...

She never ages. She looked (and was) 20 years older than me in the 80's now I look 30 years older than her. 40 years later I'm still enjoying her music. I was at this show in Pittsburgh where it was taped and it was phenomenal. Stevie is timeless and rock royalty. To still be performing after all she's been through is commendable. My favorite song is Rooms on Fire, because I used to dream of meeting someone who would make me feel like that. I did at age 39 lol, he came to me at just the right time. My mom was dying of cancer and she always wanted me to meet her neighbor Scott. Well I did , and 13years later we're still together and going strong. Thank you for sharing your song with us and yes I still get the same feeling that the rooms on fire every time I see him. My highest level of praise will never be enough' to you and to my Scott. Looking forward to purchasing the double CD, next month. I really hope she performed some rare cuts from her 47-year recording/singing/songwriting career. It's gonna be real nice to hear, "Crying In The Night". I really hope she performed, "24 Karat Gold", considering the whole album and tour come from that song. Between this and EAGLES: Live At The Forum, I will be in 1970s-to-2020s Heaven. Thank God, for good, new music and albums from veteran artists, in 2020. One of the very few highlights...

My mom and dad always played her music when I was growing up, I love her so much...she's such an idol of mine..like I would copy her dance moves in music videos and her live concerts and whenever I feel like I have one of those days, I put on her albums...Stevie Nicks is such a big influence in my life.

I wish I could tell Stevie what she means to me. The truth is I'd probably start crying telling her how much I love her and , also,she's saved my life ever since I was a little kid growing up in the late 70's and 80's....maybe THIS is my chance....I love you Stevie, and thank you for loving all of us....I was a little kid and you sang to me at night!!!
