No, clicks views and sales are all bad. It should go by Authenticity, skill and then support. Drake has the sales, but he was never really culturally accepted, he was more of a entertaining rapper. Clicks and views are about marketing. If you are authentic, you will get clicks and views anyway, and if people rock with you in hip hop it will show in the sales regardless, it shouldn't be a focus. TechN9ne sells out shows WHERVER he goes, in USA or overseas, why do you think that is? Hip hop culture messes with him, he's authentic, and he's dope, yet you don't hear many people talking about him at all. More rappers are starting to go "Direct" to consumer because they want to cut the middle man out from taking money and being shady to them AND sales at a high level are largely irrelevant, the thing that matters is culture and skill, art. Like who cares if you don't go Platinum, yet Hip hop mess with you and you make a million a year behind the scenes? You got your own website, merch, you do shows, tour etc, you're just not talked about in mainstream.

It's "20 v 1" because there is a whole machine and industry behind Drake. It's unimaginable how media and many influential people has pushed Drake and still is.
