I love that. Did you notice the cop and the driver even worked out a more convient place to do the traffic stop? You know the majority of officer injuries come from passing cars during traffic stops. It's true! The driver was helping protect the officer by directing the stop to a safer location. The cop knew it and was very grateful. By the way. Toronto cops get paid ALOT more than your small-town deputy. You get what you pay for. America likes to budget shop cops and complain about their quality.

Yes. Canadian police are quite respectful, but also effective. Years ago, I was touring in Vancouver. 4 or 5 beautifully painted Lamborghinis were stopped in a lineup by the coast. There's a sound pollution violation they were breaking. And yes, the revving of their engines was quite obnoxious. The one BC officer had calmly maneuvered his vehicle to oppose them nose-to-nose to block them on the coastal "strip". He was so calm and issued citations respectfully without the least bit of fear or hostility. He was the definition of a brave and good cop. Also, those were the most impressive paint jobs I've ever seen on those Lamborghinis.
