This cut is really nice. He makes it look so easy when its NOT. People need to understand that hes working with a scalpel here. Hes a surgeon. And hes doing heart surgery. This type of cut needs to be perfect and he nailed it obviously. Whats most impressive to me is the back cut. He starts on one side and ends up perfectly flat straight on the other side IF he started slightly off when starting the back cut when he gets to the other side it would be either in the dirt or above the face to high. Thats a hard thing to get perfect like he did. Look at the hold wood.. Not much there at all. One mistake with that 661 and you can zip right though that small bit. Then the tree can fall anywhere. This is NOT a novice cut hes got skills bigtime. So dont think you can run out buy a saw and do this..

Nice cut bro. Surprised to see so much of the hinge cut away when letterboxing but it clearly held well and worked perfectly for you. Personally, I'd maybe have removed the buttress roots first but I think that's just down to personal preference. Stay safe 👌🙌✌

Any particular reason for such a shallow face cut and so little hinge wood? From the video, it looks like the face cut is only around 10-15% and your well under 5% left for hinge.
