I’m impressed you’ve still got stihl hiflex trousers that aren’t torn to shreds!

Nice work! That 661 sounds sweet too. I really want to give this a go with my 9010 now!

Way too loud for commercial work but it's a bit of fun for at home! Can't imagine how loud one would be on a 500i. I'm not convinced it adds much performance but the sound makes you feel manly 😅🤷♂️💪

That long bar comes in handy.

Perfect length for this stuff. Shame it's a bit too far gone for handles. One of the boards might be passable but I'm thinking planer and making a table top 🤔 👀🤷♂️

very impressive and fast cutting, I myself also have noticed that keeping the bar parallel to the log makes for much faster cutting than if cutting at an angle to the grain + you get these lovely shaving, so satisfying 😅 Is it a regularly sharpened chain?

freshly sharpened prior to the video! can't stand a blunt chain haha. I will try and make a more in depth video on milling the next log.

@@elemental4rce yes! It's remarkable how chainsawing goes from very satisfactory to a little frustrating once it just dulls a bit.

Nice accurate cuts. Did you add the Muffler kit yourself? Much involved?
@elemental4rce Жыл бұрын
very easy, it's just two bolts. Take off the stock muffler and just slide on the new one and tighten it back up. thanks!

@@elemental4rce Even I could do that perhaps! Make much difference to power. Got a 661 myself with 30" bar which I can't get used to. Years using 20" down saws without issues but the long bar seems to throw me off (and I can’t cut straight with it!)

Thanks Brian! I will try to start doing some voiceovers hopefully. Yeah 36"
