It’s another beautiful day and today we are going to master how to make Chile rellenos just in case you still can’t make them to perfection! A good Chile rellenos has to have the best filling and of course the egg batter this is a recipe that was passed down to me, from my great grandma to my grandma to my mom to me and now not only to my daughter but to you too! ✅Tip: get the prettiest Chile poblano as well as the ones with a strong stem 😉
Ingredients: 6 servings
6 Chile poblanos
2 lbs queso Oaxaca
3 tbsp APF plus more for dusting
Oil for frying
6 eggs at room temp
1/2 tsp salt
For the salsa:
4 roma tomatoes
5 Chile arbol
2 chile serranos
3 garlic cloves
1/4 onion
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp chicken bouillon
Salt to taste
1 cup water
For the stuffing:
1/2 onion finely chopped
2 rom tomatoes finely chopped
1-2 jalapeños or serranos finely chopped
1 serving of love💕

First I just have to say that you are the most amazing cook I've ever watched cooking Mexican food. Your recipes are incredibly easy to follow and your presentation is always fresh and upbeat. Congratulation! Your cookbook is wonderful. I am happy that I opted for the spiral bound version. This recipe is easy enough that I now have a reputation for great Chili Rellenos............. We are making 18 of them this afternoon. We freeze them and enjoy them anytime. Freezing does not seem to diminish their taste. This works really well for us.

I went college in a little town in west Texas years ago and the Mexican restaurant there that was run by on family and all the ladies took turns cooking a waiting . I fell in love with their chili relents and have only run across a couple places in the last 40 years that made them that good. THESE look EXACTLY like those.
