I was looking online at a Dodge dealer here in Glendale Heights, Illinois. It’s called DuPage Dodge Chrysler Jeep. They’re selling R/T’ Challengers for about $7500 off a sticker and Scat Packs are selling for about $3500 off sticker. Hell if that dealership that you’re at if they’re not dealing you’d be better off flying out the Illinois and buying one of these and saving yourself $7500.

Sticker price is the problem. So getting $3500 off of a car that’s $20,000 overpriced is not doing you a favor. Scat pack should be right around 40 grand, widebody right around 44.. Hellcats should be right around 54,000…

These dealerships are ordering only fully option cars. At my local dodge dealership they have quite a few challengers chargers and 300s and none are base models

I'm down from you in Bonham, Tx. Our hometown dealership has probably 25+ scats/rts/etc parked out in front of the dealership and they haven't moved for months.. I feel like the stigma has a lot to do with it.

You all have to realize that material and labor went up substantially. . Basic econ 101. Look at fast food prices. Big mac combo used to cost around $7-$8. Now its over $12. Im shopping for a hellcat now and the base price is around $66k I think. Not too bad when 2018 was around $54k -$56k.

These dealers have to pay interest on these cars that sit on their lot that don’t move, so every week every month that they don’t sell they’re losing money on them in addition they are depreciating also.

All of these are scams. Rather buy a used one or just buy the motor and trans as a combo put it in my 14 rt "road & track package" mines fully loaded. Only thing I don't have is the 6.4/ brembo brakes and rear end gearing lsd which is nothing and cheap to buy. Mines is 1 of 25 2014 models made according to mopar or fca whatever the site is that you find information about your car. Prices are ridiculous. Only reason why I'm searching is because I dod the most important thing " close on a house" me and my lady just did a few days ago

Not sure why manufacturers and dealers thought Americans can afford 50, 60, 80, 100K cars. Maybe 10-20% of the country can. You are only going to sell to 10% of the country? And those rich people who have enough money to blow on a 100K car aren't going to buy a Dodge, they are going to buy a BMW, Range Rover, etc. Sure, there are some bros out there making $1200 car/truck payments until they get repossessed, but those aren't real customers.

look for rare colors and models not many builds = manual transmission hellcat / hellcat wide body , super stocks .my fav is wide body T/A OR A RT scat pac 1320 . demom 170 3300 cars is not rare , its a ba car if one ordered it as a race car only 50 where orderd 99 base model cloth int. rest where ordered with every opt, for the collectors

Don’t buy one of these last call dodge challengers or chargers they will come down in price they have no choice. I read something last week they were over 33,000 chargers and over 25,000 challengers at dealers nationwide.

Here in CA people may not be buying because if you don't agree to pay $1,800 for their Lojack, and locking lugs, they won't sell you the car. After walking off the 3rd lot for this reason, I bought a Camaro.

The people who like and want these cars can’t afford them or can and can’t afford the insurance💯😂I’m 22 and just bought a ats v never once looked at scats or anything these cars don’t handle well enough or go fast enough in anything but a straight line from factory to justify that price. I got a 50k cheaper car that will walk a scat with nothing but down pipes and a tune you have to be on pure dope to be paying this much for challengers and chargers the car game is messed up.

Just buy older and used stuff cause those prices are cry cray ! Can’t see anyone buying anything for those prices . Financially can’t see why even doing it ! As soon as you buy one for the crazy price . It’s not worth that . They dictate the high price and the depreciation value . And you get screwed at the end .
