Happy Easter
This week we do our last move with our 2015 Scania R520 and take over our 2024 Scania R590
It’s in at the deep end with our new truck as we collect a 40 tonne LiuGong 936F Excavator from Lincolnshire and move a huge McCloskey S140 Screen (one of our largest machines)
We see how the new Scania manages the work and do plenty of other moves along the way…

Good episode ,, the truck looks pretty bloody tidy mate .love the pull out tray and microwave ,tachograph brakes have just got a hole lot bettor with a nice cold can or a bottle of water to drink in the summer from the fridge

Very smart new truck Alex! It'll still look like new in a few years with you at the wheel! Look forward to seeing the 380 on the back when we get some better weather for muck shifting!

Nice new truck you've got there now, Alex. it seems to have everything, but the kitchen sink in the cab. I never knew Scania did a 590 model until I saw this video. A truck to be seen in and be proud of having for your work.

It takes a lot of skill and experience to move what must be some of the largest, heaviest, and most expensive pieces of equipment that get moved on a lowloader.

The first time I turned a key in a wagon was 29 years ago, I’d spent another 7 years working on plant prior to that, so yes I’d agree things are slightly different…

Below your hand break above the charger port there’s a port for the air duster mate take the cap off and you’ll see it

So you are allowed to move oversize equipment at night over there? Oversize loads are daylight hours only in Australia.

It depends on which Police Authority area you’re in, most have embargoes for peak times but not for the hours of darkness 🤟
