3:44 here's your actual answer: this is probably because interaction points can be programmed to do different things. the interaction point of an item is programmed to attach it to franks hand and load any weapon data, for instance. before you pick it up, it's just an object. this is most likely on a hard-coded level, so to that extent, these treadmills' interaction points were probably programmed as "doors" as placeholders, since they hadn't programmed them for the special interaction of "start the treadmill" yet.

If I recall correctly you’ve said in the past that you only wanted this channel to be dead rising stuff, but if you made it a separate channel I’d be subscribed to it in a heartbeat. I’d also understand if you didn’t want to though, valve’s recycling bin has consumed the souls of lesser mortals and it can take awhile to shift through all the information and borderline urban legends involving the topic.

Gotta agree with the game being as buggy as it used to, to what it eventually became, it is a rather well polished game for the time period it was made it and how quick it was done. Yeah some bugs are still there and the ai could've been better. But man it's always a joy to replay , again and again. Good stuff as always my dude.
