Great man,...... taken way too young. That's life but I still can ask why. I first heard his music when I was in the Marines in 1980. an African American SGT. was playing this music on a cassette tape. I said what's that? That music is so different. He said "you like it". I said yea man.... turn it up I want to hear it. I had never heard that voice or power before. I was hooked. I said to him...... I don't know who he is or what kind of music that is, but I love it. I took it back home to the my family and shared it. They didn't get but I did. They said it was weird. I said it's genius in sound and lyrics. Powerful vibes....... I guess maybe I was right about something in life because look at him now. A legend....... go with your heart brothers. Never let the stain of what others say guide you about what you love. Acceptance. RIP Bob.... you live on in our hearts.

I can't explain what it's like to listen to this classic after listening to Jeremih and 50 cent's "Put it down on Me" (which is a great song by the way). Kinda like rippin' around in a 2011 Dodge Charger with the Hemi, then end the evening cruising in a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190SL.
