@@georges625 That’s not good… I think the STM was keeping them in storage to replace retired 2nd gens. And I really hope I’m wrong about that.

@@GarbageTrucksOfROR Haha SCRAP! When are we ever going to receive something other than NovaBUS? Oh yeah and believe it or not, these things are even worse in the winter, as they constantly get stuck in snow. They make the 3rd gens look like saints lol. 😅

@@StmTransit1966 Yeah exactly, but the 3rd gens had a lot of problems early on, like when 30-252 caught fire due to a faulty alternator. This happened in the middle of the highway whilst on line 485 in 2015. The hybrids have their own problems though, it’s lucky that none of them caught fire (yet)! I still prefer the 3rd gens over the hybrids, too bad they don’t have a long time remaining before their retirement (we’re already seeing it with 29-8XX artics). Edit: Forgot to mention, but 29-119 had an engine fire in early 2010. It ended up getting repaired.
