Look at his speedometer, they aren't going too fast. A good car can take heat like that pretty easily, but the moto gotta work really hard for it in those curves.

It's super easy to drive on the wide of American roads. A road in Europe is 4 times smaller than a American road. So with a Golf 2 VR6 we smash the S1000RR 😅

Corner entry, mid corner, corner exit, and down the straits, that sick Camaro absolutely owns. It goes to show that when push comes to shove a well sorted car is superior on twisty roads than even the best of superbikes. And I'm saying this as a bike nut who despises cars.

@@elwoode3017 Well the stock tires are built for track, and are super sticky. I had to replace mine as soon as getting my 1LE as every time I went for a cruise the cars behind me would get beat up with rocks flying back and complained 😂

It's more of a sports car and the 1le zl1 is a track car not 1 pice of rubber on that suspension it comes that way of the show room floor who nows what else is done to it

I knew that road was familiar! Blood Mtn!! I love that road! Richard Russel pkwy is great as well as Wolfpen Gap (favorite). Hwy 60 is nice too. Downhill is my favorite!

Yeah but he worked night and Day on it, if you did not follow it on his twitch....PC freezzing, slow net-throughput, even though PC Configuration is very good, but still lot of waiting, glitching and various frustrations. It's pretty hard for One Man to cover all that, he definitely needs some help if wanna produce this Kind of edit regularly....So far, only help he had is us Fans who make him company on Twitch during the live-edit-streams...I'd use this Moment to call everybody to join actually, it's free and fun..8-))

Great vid except that one couple seconds where you nearly occupied the same space as that dually pulling the camper. I live about 10 minutes from Sunrise Grocery at the Northern Foot. I may have actually spotted myself passing by the other direction on my Katana in this video 😂 I hit the mountain like every other day all during riding season so who knows 🤔

A stock zl1 is not keeping up with an s1k on even its best days. Look at the power to weight ratios of both machines and you’ll understand. This wasn’t the car, it was all the driver. Dude is mad talented. And even though MW is a great rider, he just isn’t quite there yet to be pushing his s1k to its full potential. For example, you put Rossi on the s1k in this situation and the camaro stands no chance at all, even with the best of the best driver sitting in the seat. After all, rwd is only so capable in the twisties.

@@_death_3047 the science behind it is the bike has a few cm of tire contact patch on the road and the camaro has 315mm of contact patch on the road. Plus the fact that car can start accelerating sooner in the turn because a car allows you to have significantly more tire scrub. If you scrub a tiny amount on a bike there’s a good chance you’ll low side. The bike has to take the time to slowly transition to throttle and stand the bike up while the camaro can just get in it. It’s much easier to threshold brake in a car too because you can lock the tire up a bit and it doesn’t send you flying across the ground. Just about every instance I’ve seen of a well setup car vs a bike in the mountains the car barely has an edge on the bike.
