Had this as a kid. Stompers were my favorite toys. I had the tractor pull set as well and like 5 stompers. Great memories sitting on the floor playing with these. These and construx were my childhood

Devil Mountain is probably the one we had. It wouldnt stay together. Loved it though.

As a kid I was smart enough to know that if you took some silver model paint or anything like that you could paint out all of the headlight plastic except the opening hole and get a little bit more light out in front of the vehicle. It didn't make a huge difference but it made a minor difference and in my eyes that was good enough LOL

OMG 😮I loved these as a kid in the early 80s!😊 these just came out in about 1980-83'! I had a few of these, as well as my friends! Even in the 80's, these weren't very cheap, as the price of each of them was! They were $7.00- $10.00 apiece! That was pricey in the 80"s, at: $4.25per hour!

I have recently picked up a couple stompers that weren't working and I got them running so they were much less expensive. Loved having them as a kid and its nice having some again. Currently have a nissan brat and the McDonalds mail away. BTW I have that same shirt and get compliments on it every time I wear it.

That yellow speedster type is not a stomper per say. Different design. Never have found one on card or in any kind of set.

that seems to be a discussion in the community for sure. Some say its Schaper original, other s say its a continuation from a knock off company

@@toywarp since it is not the same design, has no markings, never seen in a card nor in a set. I believe it’s a knock off. I have come across many of them.
