We're taking you with us through all the ups and downs of stone shopping for the fireplace! While we wait for the stone to be fabricated, we'll be cleaning and painting our existing firebox black using high-heat paint. And then it is finally time to see our beautiful natural stone get installed!

Looks amazing. Did you have to seal it? We sealed our tile and it changed the look a bit - it got darker. Also, what software are you using to produce renders? So handy to have a visual before remodel

We have not sealed it but we left it as an option if we did want to darken the stone at all in the future. For the renderings we use Enscape, it is compatible with Sketchup
