1988에서 고경표보고 잘생겼다고 생각 못하다가 상암DMC에서 촬영하느라 코디랑 구석에서 같이 있는거 보고 지렸음. 얼굴 조막만하고 일어섰는데 키가 무슨 마징가 처럼 커지는거임. 심지어 비율도 쭉쭉 늘어나면서 말이지. 와나 진짜 배우는 아무나 하는게 아니구나 싶었음

ㅋㅋ 군대에 있을때 잠시 군 병원에 들릴 일 있었음. 거기서 고경표를 봤음. 23사단 훈련소 조교셨는데 아는사람은 알아보더라. 그러다 한명이 배우가 꿈이셨는지 상담을 요청했는데 정말 친절하게 알려주면서 싸인까지 해주는걸보고 인성이 된 사람 이란걸 느꼈음. 실물은 훈훈한 학생 느낌 물씬 풍기는데 피부가 완전 좋고 얼굴은 작은데 키는 커서 비율이 정말 좋았음. 전체적인 아우라가 되게 선해보이는 사람이었음.

The only reason I'm invested in Sun Woo and Bora is because I wonder if Go Kyung Pyo and Ryu Hye Young feel the same way in real life being childhood friends. It's got to be heart-fluttering hearing your best friend saying "I like you" even if it's scripted, right? This song is so cute.

I’m an Arab but the connection I felt while watching this drama was unbelievable. I remember being a kid and my grandmother gives me food, fruits, and whatever we have and asks me to take it to our neighbors and then they give me anything they have and asks me to take it home to my grandmother so it was similar to the first episodes of the drama. I also remember how we used to sit outside the house with the fruits we have or the sweets we made while watching the people who come and go across us. It also reminded me of how we listen to the radio to know the news and what’s happening around the world or in our country. And us going to our neighbor’s house and play board/card games and watch tv together or play the old video games after coming back from the grocery while having ice cream and snacks. I miss those simple days. This is the thing that makes reply 1988 so great, it was a family based drama and it was literally the most heartwarming drama ever, it touched my soul and heart with every single episode. The plot was not about who will end up with who, it was about families, neighbors, best friends and their youth. it was beautifully shown how they were always by each others sides. It was about family bond, parents and their children. It was about the struggles and hardships in life. It was about a period of time and stories that will forever leave a great impact in my heart.

I love how the song is "Violet Fragrance" and Bora's name in english is Violet / Purple!! Plus in the english translation, it says the singer is in particular awe of their crush's EYES. Sunwoo has always been vocal of loving Bora's EYES! Song also mentions how the person approached them and showed them love. Let's not forget that Sunwoo fell for Bora when she approached him and let him be vulnerable during his father's wake. THIS SONG IS THE PERFECT BORA X SUNWOO OST AND PD NIM IS AMAZINGGGGG

I think this series had the best OST to date :O It was based on the time my mother was a university student. ^_^ She remembers all these small references, the hong kong kung fu movies she watched with her friends, the cheap ramen 'bunshik' places to eat, her friends who went on a violent democracy march... and shortly after giving birth to me and my brother :). I do remember when I was four years old (1995, so a few years after this drama is based), that the snacks used to be sold in tiny stores in the corner, not in big supermarkets like now, and they used to only be around 300 won! ^_^ such good memories~! Very nostalgic drama, I'm really glad I watched it! I know everyone hated the ending (oh junghwan
