If I'm being honest, your tractor vids don't entice me enough to buy anything based on your use. I work fields and need to see how a tractor preforms day to day operations using it in field cultivation type situations. Chore tractor homestead stuff doesn't really appeal to me or work a tractor to its full potential. I do like your cattle vids and some other stuff, but you frankly come off more of a salesman than a farmer to me most of the time, which isn't typical something I enjoy watching.

yep...we don't till and in 100 years I predict that tillage will be illegal. I'm just building my farm and taking you along with me. Most of my content shows the gear I work with....not just tractors going around in circles, tilling, spraying and destroying our nation's valuable top soil. I do it a little different here on the farm, low impact, low tillage...and beef production. Not row cropping 20000 acres and earning .30 cent per acre farmed my brother. What I do here is what used to be farming, before mega corporations, Bayer, Monsanto and every other chemical company started running the show along with gov't subsidies. This is the small family farm of yesteryear my friend

@@locustvalleyfarms7241 maybe he means turning soil with a moldboard will be illegal because it can send soil off the farm. There is also the issue that the microbiome may get disrupted with turning soil over that way. That is all I have got. I agree. I have run a 5100 John Deere up to 2700 hours with zero problems. I'm not against other brands, but I am always concerned about the dealers expertise to repair a tractor and more importantly to stock parts for the long haul. I have a 40 year old International planter and can still get parts for instance. I haven't touched on resale which is another huge issue.

It's not unusal for a contract to expire and not be renewed - marketing strategies change without cause. Hopefully this video gets the word out that you're a free agent, and ready to align with a new brand. Wishing the new partner is a solid brand, and one you see yourself in their seat. Keep having fun.

Bought a 2017 TYM T234 this year with 150 hrs. Not sure it's the best tractor but it was the only one in my budget ($7K). I couldn't afford a loader or more hp, but I am hopeful it will take care of my 7 acre property. I basically needed a big mower I could upgrade with attachments over the years.

I started over 10 years ago with a Ford 9N and later decided to upgrade. I kept the 9N but went looking at New Holland, Branson, Kubota and Mahindra. I bought a shuttle shift Mahindra 3016 and was extremely pleased with it. The only limitation I saw was the front loader lift capacity when picking up parge round bales. I could lift them but only about 4ft (that's probably good for safety though). After 6 great years of use, I traded it in for a TYM 394 cab model with shuttle shift. I'm looking forward to putting it to work. So far so good. I'll find out if the extra lift capacity TYM claims will be enough for me. Happy to hear more reviews of TYM, but I wouldn't mind seeing other brands too. I'm confident the TYM engine will be solid. My first diesel truck was an F250 with the 6.9 International that also had a simple mechanical fuel pump system, similar to the TYM. I loved that simple, powerful, reliable motor.

The thing about most of these brands is a complete lack of dealers and parts/service. The amount of farms in my area running a fleet of old Fords and Deeres is astronomical. The only new tractors I see are m6 and up Kubotas. I’ve seen one or two Masseys but for real farming most of these companies don’t even make a tractor that competes. The used market is where it’s at for these homestead tractors. I imagine dealers are being murdered right now.

I've had great luck with a Kioti CK2610 HST over the last two years. Small tree farm and sawmill operation. It's a 25hp diesel compact utility tractor with the strong KL4030 loader. Simple diesel engine with no modern emission controls. I work it pretty hard, do all the maintenance, and its been a great tractor so far. Much more capable than the comparable Kabota. Made by Daedong Industrial Co. in South Korea. BTW - Everything Attachments is still in business. I use their Wicked Root Rake Grapple on my loader and it's awesome. Best and most useful attachment in my opinion. EA produces some high quality, tough attachments.

Since you are no longer under contract, this might be a perfect opportunity to go around to some of your local tractor stores and see about a short term contract through them for different tractors. 6 months with one brand, 6 months with another. Not only would it help those tractors but you might be able to find one that you want to stay with. no matter what you decide though, I'm looking forward to your Content all the time..

I'm not a tractor salesman my friend, I'm a farmer/influencer. The machines sell themselves in my opinion...you and I both know brand exposure earns...if it didn't, realtors such as yourself wouldn't be on billboards, benches and advertisements my brother

You , Hamilton Farms, and Daniel Arms from Arms family homestead sold me on TYM. I have saved for 30 years to purchase a brand new truck, when I was going to retire instead of a new truck I paid cash for a brand new TYM 474 with a couple implements to clear my overgrown 12 acre family Homestead. No sweet deal here. I am putting it through its paces. I will show it this summer quite a bit, if it fails you’ll see it.I love it, definitely need a couple more implements. Love your channel.

Josh if they wanted you to push for the sales of the tractors they should have said so and or given you the chance to do so. If it was your choice not to push for sales then that would be your choice. Not be in the blind about what happens or happened.

You were for a marketing strategy, don’t feel offended. Times are getting really tough and equipment/vehicles are not selling like the last few years. Remember, they are cutting spending anyway they can. I only buy used, but once you go that route, you are all alone service wise. No warranty for old iron. You will always be looking for some drama for your show…well older equipment will bring lots of that. That’s the content I love, we all want to cheer for the guy that never gives into the new tractor and keeps old Smokey going haha.

An electric from an established manufacturer that is intended to be a serious offering would be interesting to see. The volume in farm tractor sales is so small that it would be nearly impossible for a startup to make it. That makes it really hard to take a tractor like Solectrac seriously, as their sales and current financial situation indicates.

I would love to see a comparison of the TYM T574 and a Kubota MX6000. Most of the folks in my area of middle Georgia lean Kubota because of the customer service and dealer support. I'll be shopping soon and in the market for a MX6000 or something similar. The price tag and features on the T574 sure is tempting but I'm comfortable with Kubota. I've had great luck with the small Kubota I've had for 10 years. I guess I'll take a look at both.

Sounds like a marketing change. There may be other opportunities after the rebranding develops. Electric is neat for small acreage, but it has a long way to go in a lot of areas ... same with cars. I grew up on small acreage doing small things, and that type of equipment still grabs my attention more than the larger stuff. Not saying you don't need it, certainly you do. Just saying what grabs me. Keep the great content coming and be blessed.

I'm gonna say this once....get yourself a 50-55hp cab machine and you'll never regret it. Sub compacts are good....but honestly....better resale and usability on a little bit larger machine. I've never met a person with a tractor that said "ya know, I like it but it's just got too much power"

Hi Josh, I am not a farmer ( love the channel). I agree with BCGRITTNER ( below) I do NOT remember You EVER SAYING anything bad about the TYM Tractors. The TYM's have SEEMED to be the main work-horses on Your farm for doing various chores FOR A LONG TIME! TYM has ROYALLY "screwed" up on this. You were TOP advocate and proponent of their GEAR and then THEY turn around and do this?? TYM has made a HUGE MUSTAKE! ( Mustake is worse than a mistake) BLESSED BE! Batman
