-
You want to be a massive success, break the mold, do it bigger, live better, be the best business owner or writer or artist or parent? Then stop giving a sh*t about what everyone else is going to think about you.
The most common reason people get stuck looking at their life from the sidelines is because they put the opinions of other people ahead of their own dreams. Why do you do that? Why do you listen to people who claim to be your friends when they doubt you?
Stop letting the fear and doubt sink you before you even try. Stop letting the opinions that may or may not be true steal this one life from you. Stop letting what you look like or sound like stop you from even TRYING!
And definitely don't take advice from people you wouldn't trade lives with.
What is the cure to doubt? What is the cure to worry? What is the cure to what if?
It is action.
Action so loud it tunes out everyone else's two cents.
Stop whining and wondering, start winning.

Sooo true. I hate how people put down kids who are so curious and unafraid and when they grow up like that all they’re told is to take life seriously and stop being themselves. Kids are the wisest people out there and damn it I never wanna “grow up” the way society wants us to. It’s just hard to remember that once you *do* fall through that trap. Thank you for this amazing reminder Mel

Yesss! I always say, “it’s not my business what other people think about me”. I see it as a selfish way of being because people are too worried about themselves that they can’t offer true value from their heart!

Mel, you really are an important person in my life. Every time I feel low or feel bad or don't feel like it. I always come searching for your advice and then I feel better. I try to clam or explain myself to relax... but I relax only when I hear you and a feeling of confidence starts building into me, saying it's gonna be fine. I don't know what I am doing is right or wrong, but I don't want to think about it because.... According to me all I do is wrong( I don't if this is making any sense..). I am so grateful that I bumped into you. Thank you for who you are and thank you for sharing your knowledge, this means a lot to me, its like you are my Therapist.

Mel’s advice is awesome. It has contributed to changing my life. I first came across her via her iconic TED talk and subscribed straightaway. I’m the queen of procrastination and perfection, but I’m getting out of that rut. Massive changes in my social landscape and friends circle in a very positive way, changing jobs and moving continents. Mel, thank you for everything you do to better people’s lives - great legacy!

Mel, you are spot on!! I've been watching your videos but this one has helped me squash the excuses I was using to cover up the real truth stopping me from starting my wellness videos: I'm busy worrying about what others think. Ugh. I love this: "Whether it's speaking from the heart, speaking from the gut, like that is the skill to develop, is the ability to be...themselves." Thank you. 54321! Off I go to plan my content calendar! You are a blessing.

I'm 19, and I've lived a hard 19 years, but once you filter through what is really important, the rest of the shit falls away. Its like the trash took itself out. I just do what I feel is important. It tore me apart in the beginning, but I've come so far that I don't regret what I went through with myself. And so 54321!❤

This is why they call timeout before the kicker kicks the field goal...so that they have time to "think about it." and the more they think about it the better chance they will think about what could go wrong and miss the kick because the mechanics will be thrown off.
