@@Speedster-jw7qx Because it is a case of me too. At one time a few people started rebuilding Gen One Camaros. That got got big and then everyone's big build was a 1969 Clone with a brand new engine in it. And then the recent one was the Hellcat motor. After they got there hands on it did the same thing. They would show off thinking they were a pro driver and then wreck the damn thing before driving it a full mile. And there are "car shows" on you tube that think they are pros and then don't show you anything. They either take bad pics or they skip over the good cars to show you crap.

The PT Cruiser was not bought for what it was/is, but for what the buyers thought it would be. The next MOPAR money car, like their cars from the Seventies. And the last two can be better than they were intended to be and look. For speed, it isn't always what you buy. It can be what you build. The Mustang and the Camaro were never intended by their Parent Companies to be anything more Six-Cylinder groceries getters for teenagers. It was certain car sellers that started the Muscle wars. Carrol Shelby for the Mustang and either Yenko or Sunoco for the Camaro. And then they started racing them. Then the public started requesting the Mustangs and Ford said yes. And the Camaro was bought hrough the Sunoco Dealership and And Yenko had already been building Supercars for Chevy Racing on the Corvair platform. And for Ugly, again that can also be fixed there is a blue one on Yahoo Images that you have to see. It actually looks good.

@@GeneralCaleb01 I don't have the equipment to put an engine upgrade on the Mondial, but just because it came out of the factory crap doesn't mean it will never be a good car. How about sticking a Coyote in the back of it, shave weight off of it, and then fabricate a body kit for it. If someone can make one for a Gremlin, than any car is a possibility. And this time listen to me. There is a Blue Tuner Aztek on Images that actually looks good. For everyday life? it depends on what you got, if it works, if you need it to work, you have the ability, learn the ability and the fact that you need it to work, and how much you are willing to pay/can pay to do all of the above.

How reliable are those stock boxer engines?

If you do the usual oil check etc like any other car they are pretty reliable i must say. I dont drive the crap out of it either the whole time then the occasional sprint on the highway as a sleeper :-)

I’ve thought about buying one too. 330 hp stock is a pretty decent number and I like the trumpet sound the exhaust has, plus from what I’ve heard, you can make a good amount of power out of those VQ motors. You basically get a more comfortable daily drivable 370z with the option of 4 doors and awd too if you live in a snowy climate.

I actually ended up getting a Q 50 but test drove 3 G37s... G 37 steering is unmatched it felt pure and very connected and significantly better than the Q 50 I bought a couple years later

That's a common Corvette issue the newer ones are pretty awful from what I hear someone told me they got rid of the Corvette due to too many electrical issues and the XLR twin had several electrical problems
