Over ripe plantain can be annoying but it happens often, especially if you Live in our clime. Buying a bunch of plantains means that you have to eat it almost immediately as they ripen... well here is good news, there are lots of recipes you can make with Over Ripe Plantain and today i show you Plantain Chin-Chin. It is tasty, Crunchy, super yummy and very easy to make...
I also have a Bonus French toast video, you can try out. It is a savoury French toast, super Yummy too.

You can also freeze ripe plantains and it will arrest the ripening process. The skin will turn black but it won't affect the plantain or its taste

Most refreshing to note that you have short clean nails not the long, painted nails i have been noticing on recent posts by other cooks which does not conform to food safety and hygiene standards.

@ebychuks9797

I made it! I watched your video and I had some plantains that were definitely going to get spoilt and i used them. They were actually already getting spoilt, but, hey, it turned out right! After frying, my chinchin was dark😄 in colour! I used only 2 cubes of cane sugar. My chinchin turned out soft also, think I put too much butter and too much plantain for my 2 cups of flour, so my dough was quite soft and sticky. I also think this made it absorb oil during frying. All the same I loved it and would definitely make it again! Thanks so much for the recipe!😊
