Before I bought my cub cadet, I would tell my wife, “look how happy those people are mowing their lawn !” That was my justification for buying one. Now, I am completely off medication and am happy.

I picked up both the 'hauler' and the 'leaf collection system' for my XT2 GX54D, largely from your praise and your great video here. Your assembly instructions were very helpful, especially when it came to that 'first hole' that the arrow points to in the printed instructions that you say "no, use the second hole" to! So thanks for that. My plastic piece that snaps in (that the big tube goes into) doesn't fit as well as yours, not sure why, but I get by. Of note- when you use it as a grass bagger (instead of just leaves) it's quite dusty and grass tends to fill in between the structural poles and the fabric, making dumping & cleanout a challenge instead of easy. But I absolutely LOVE that hauler cart man, that thing is great!

I have the leaf collector also and used it at the tail end of last year. When you pack the bag and fill it up to the top with all those mulched leaves, it's a win for us...take that mother nature! Fall leaves 2021, you've lost the war already.

I have had a hauler for about 5 years, and it has held up great! I like it because it is NOT water tight. You can leave sticks and lawn debris in it until you are ready to dump, and it it rains, the water drains right out and you don't end up with a soupy mess in your cart. And the ability to fold flat makes it extremely handy for hauling fence posts or lumber around the property. A great little cart!

I hope that works for ya. But I’m thinking that tube will plug if you get into heavy stuff. I’ve got a DR setup with a powered impeller. Sits got a pretty big engine on it. Quite the trick to keep the hose from kinking when you turn into the rig (I’m pulling behind a Ferris iz2100 52 inch deck). I blow the leaves from beds and everywhere onto the grass first. It will completely clean leaves up to a range of 4 inches thick, and between the deck and the powered impeller there is absolutely nothing it misses. On my 1.5 acres I usually get about 12 loads of leaves in the fall cleanup. Usually run it again in early spring to get a clean start for spring, and the rest of the year I mulch. I bought a pair of high lift John Deer blades and converted them to fit my Ferris. The move a ton of air.

I used to have several very old deciduous trees, including a HUGE (50+ ft. tall) silver maple. Over many years, all my trees (except 2 conifers) grew decrepit, dropped dead, and were removed. But before you weep for me, consider that I no longer have to rake for hours and hours every year. I don't miss a damned one of those trees. My neighbors have tons of them anyway. Therefore: I had no need to watch this video. But because it's from Mr. Clint de los TRZ, that makes it mandatory viewing anyway... if only for the sheer entertainment value. Rock on, and keep showing those damned leaves who's boss, dude! 🤘 I'm kind of surprised how well it did with pine needles... Looking forward to the actual leaf follow-up video.

I just purchased a ZTS1 and investigated using this system with it. The only reason it will not work out of the box with a zero turn is that the hose is not long enough - a zero turn has the deck farther forward from the hitch point compared to a traditional mower. The hose is about 58" and the dealer thinks it needs to be 72". So, I ordered the unit and will buy a new hose once I receive it.

@@ffas23 Kinda... I wanted something a little more compact, but a little more robust than a typical bagger attachment. I put a 44 ga. Brute can on the back of my old Huskee, found a small chute, formed a second chute from black sintra, and connected it to the can with a HVAC inlet and 1' of flexible tube. Pretty happy with how it turned out. with the deck raised up, it gives me 2 cans of well chopped up leaves. TSC is Tractor Supply; it's my go-to place for hardware.

This system actually works great for $399. Not everyone is going to buy a Cyclone rake for the kind of money they go for. I agree Cyclone is the best but the cheapest and smallest one starts at just under $1600 to their best around $3200. I have about 3/4 of a acre of property to take care of. This Cub Cadet System works better then anything else out there in its price range hands down at $400 less a lawn cart. I used a 10 cube lawn cart I already had. It will cost people $400 or more just for a 2 bucket grass bagger for their tractor.

Why not it has served me well all these years. A little Rustoleum Black Paint and it will almost look like new.
