I am a single mother and made it my mission to never bad mouth my son’s father. I made sure he had access to his uncles and grandfather because his father was unable to be in his life. As a result my son has grown into a wonderful young man who is loved by a big family, and knows he is worthwhile. He also learned about forgiveness by watching me forgive his dad for what happened in our marriage (severe drug addiction due to childhood trauma) and knows that while his father couldn’t be a dad,he had many wonderful qualities. My son is proud to b3 a man and had a mother who showed respect and admiration for masculine qualities. Whenever I tended to get over protective, I learned to pull back and let him be a boy. I would have loved to do this with a partner, but since that wasn’t in the cards I decided not to damage my son as I’ve seen my sister and so many other women do out of anger and vindictiveness. There is a better way to be…

God bless you. Our marriage didn’t work out. I am doing my best to get 50/50 custody of my son. I do not talk bad about my son’s mother. However she is doing what she can to keep him away from me. I will not give up! I want to be a Father to my son!
@Katrn30

@@a1hernandez30 any parent who bad mouths the other to the child, or keeps the child away from the parent, is only thinking of themself. Unless there was true abuse, keeping your child away from their parent is abuse, and shows that that parent doesn’t really love their child as much as they want to be vindictive. I am sorry you are going through this. I know how cruel some people can be, especially women who feel scorned, and they use the innocent children as weapons. My sister is a monster who was abusive to her family, and when she decided the marriage was over, she poisoned the 2 kids against their father. He is a good man and is heartbroken over this. She has caused nothing but pain to everyone.

Loved this. Early in my relationship with my bf I was triggered twice and was able to communicate with him (after I realized what was triggering me) why I reacted CRAZY. The two things that triggered me was (1) after we were intimate and due to our schedules, I was worried it was only a sexual relationship, and (2) again due to our schedules, I did not see him as often as I needed and I got upset. Mind you we both did work on ourselves after prior difficult relationships but all that was in theory, the real work is doing it in real time with another person. The difference is now when I feel triggered (which is hardly ever anymore) I have learned to communicate with my bf without any drama.

It's refreshing to hear things in psychology being addressed again in a sane way. So much on social media is not helpful at all, and telling people who need love and care (in general, not just romance, but in the way we interact with each other) that they are broken or need to heal as to become independent and isolated (mentally). It's terrible for people who had trauma, and try to reconnect, and are pushed away and down again. Glad you focus on how love and care is important, and how doing the opposite causes self-sabotage.

I can relate so much to what she is saying about not being able to trust your own parents mostly because you don’t know how they’ll react and you would rather fix the problem yourself which can cause even more sabotage issues.

Thank you for mentioning this fact; healthy father's. It's important that's made clear. As a parent who chose to take her responsibility and look after her children; I faced constant blame for my choices. No one trusted that I did it for their good nor did anyone ask. The misogyny exist in every culture where we trust men for divorcing their wives but not visa versa. Women have to prove the did it for the right reason. That's abuse.

This exactly what happened to me. My mother constantly talked about how men were so dreadful and how they were worthless. Daily it was her rhetoric and that's how I grew up. Had it not been for my wonderful aunts I wouldn't have seen I could be a good person ( not worthless) this wasn't truly enough as I tried to be the best person for my partners who used my kindness as weakness although I would see people for who they were and would leave them due to how they treated me. I don’t think it’s a good idea to tell your child that the other parent loves the child. I think it’s best for the child to determine that by themselves with the other parent. I was taught this a long time ago during my divorce therapy that we shouldn’t put ideas in the child’s mind of the other parent, but rather let them decide if that parent loves them or not. Because my ex was mean to my children and his mother would tell my kids that he loved them and my kids would get angry at her because he didn’t act like he loved them. I stayed silent and let them figure out their own relationship with their dad. It’s up to that parent to show love to that child.

This is why she mentioned a healthy loving relationship with a child and not a harmful one just because a partner decides to tell its child that the the other one loves them isn’t putting falseness especially if it’s been related in the physical it’s a reminder within the absence but yes in certain circumstances that is not healthy and neglectful can cause mistrust and confusion toward the child mind.

Sadly, it takes discipline to look at one's faults or issues and even more discipline to work on correcting them. Most women today lack the ability to do this. Easier to just find another host to prey off of.
@Grace-rx7cv
@Grace-rx7cv 11 ай бұрын
It's not that most women lack the ability to do this. Most people lack the ability to do this. That's why you have this red pill movement of men who are demonizing women and speak of relationships as if they are nothing more than utility, cleaning, cooking, and f**king. Insight is severely lacking, what is it in these men that has made them have these experiences of women, is it ALL women or is it something about those men that seeks out a certain type of woman that has in turn given them this experience and worldview. For example a man who gets no interest or interaction from women gets resentful, he watches fresh and fit and they tell him to get his money up and get buff and use women for pleasure only...then you're surprised that your experience of women are that they are superficial gold diggers and hos. You baited your hook to attract a specific type of fish, and then say all fish are X. If you don't want a gold diggers, don't lead with your wallet, if you don't want someone superficial don't lead with your physique and if you don't want a ho, don't sleep around. Likewise these men seem to value the things they say they hate, there's a reason these women with Only Fans go on these podcasts and get shit on and do it willingly- because they get lots of subscribers from the audience of F&F, so that suggests to me despite all the talk of not wanting a woman who has fake boobs, wears make up, is promiscuous, has only fans ect, that is exactly what they men want because they most resemble the women they jerk it to in porn. And you want to say that Women lack insight?

Michael Lamb a child psychologist in 1990 said, “Fathers are forgotten contributors to child development.” Also researchers have found that children with involved fathers have stronger cognitive & motor skills, elevated physical & mental health & become better problem solvers. Are more confident, curious & empathetic. So let’s try to find a way for our families to be sustainable as children need both parents in their development & growth. And we all need each other male & female for our societies to grow & blossom. I hope the single mums don’t come for me as well 😅. I am just trying to help & heal same as Sadia.

Some men willingly walk out of their children’a lives. There are also toxic unhealthy two parent homes. Well rounded children/adults can be made by a loving, affirming, sensible, caring parent who gives them a great childhood filled with love, discipline and security.

She should do video on the realities of finding love on shows like Love island, whether to is love. What psychological effects or could have on future relationships as well as the effects of it has those who have never been in a relationship going on the show and coming out in a relationship etc. because so many young kids are affected by these shows and romanticise these relationships where they become unhinged online.

My ex turned evil and turned my 6 kids away from me. For no reason. I'm moving to another city. Maybe country. They are older now. And should know better. My new wife and I are rebooting our lives.

My mother always talked crap about my father, and then years later after he’s out of prison, she decides to follow him. Imagine what I think of my mother now?

I prefer these childhood trauma discussions over the controversial relationship videos. Addressing the former would prevent the latter, I’d hope.

Sadia 3:40.. Please know, the masses skip the wisdom, but the few looking for it are deeply grateful. Don't look at the statistics. A million will watch the nonsense. A thousand will find the wisdom they need and have a better life for themselves and their families. Touching a thousand lives doesn't show in KZfaq statistics. But God sees everything.
