I have been upgrading the table a lot an most of the time play encounters but recently I've knocked a few achievements out like gun plans an now I got over 200 weapons just from shootout an elimination just to build up the ol' armory.

The best advice I can give, is: Don't be greedy. If you found good loot, then extract. Beeing greedy was my biggest fault at the beginning. p.ex. I lootet the barred house, inventory almost full. Then I thought, that it was too soon to exit and headed for the container...then I got killed by a camper. I Had sich a situation many times. Then I realized, that being to greedy leads to get killed

My advice to new players, get good at plentiful weapons!😂 Also run a bunch of zero to hero game styles and hit the weapon crate locations first. And remember more xp comes from looting materials than weapons. Dont use up all your weapons at first just to rage quit when youre out. Also doing encounters naked or without any gear will force you to learn maps and how to avoid being killed. Nothing to lose means everything to gain!

i just focused on crafting table and rat traps after tutorial videos recommended that. now those are maxed out and now i focus on water distilation and storage room (both lvl 11), chemical destilation still lvl 4. my plan was to max out water dest. and storage room and then chemical dest. now i might have to change that plan and go for the chemical dest. i also deconstructed everything i dont need all the time to craft portable signal detectors to be able to take 2 of them in every encounter. so i went from 1 million materials pretty fast to zero. does the code work only for saeson 11 pass, or also for legacy seasons? thx for the advice!

It's a season 11 code. I feel you on the materials draining away. When I got instant consumables I went from something like 15 mil down to 10 grand like nothing 😭😭😭....🤣👍

great advice. As a new player though, crafting plans are much harder to come by so the weekly crates are a big help and you need lots of food to get them.

True. A friend of mine started an ALT account to test out some theories about the game that are going around. He's found that blueprints incredibly easy to get in eliminations. He got almost half of them in 2 days

I was/am guilty of levelling up food sources, deconstructing items with minimal return etc. Noob moves, I know. But, like you say "You don't know what you don't know". I followed your advice on this video and just finished the crafting table but I now have over 2000 guns and feel I don’t need plans or to get more value for deconstruct or need reduced time to craft. I’ll probably focus on the rat traps now and the antenna 👍

@@JealousFist I got most of the plans too but never really needed them. They were collected from the donation box, but in order to get those I upgraded the rat traps and plants to level 8 first. I found in my truth collecting drops didn’t give out any plans so relied more on weekly donations. It might of been different years before and I’m relatively new to the game

Yeah, things used to be different when it came to upgrading, very different 😆 They've made it MUCH easier than it used to be but that's like everything else in this game 😭😭😭

Lets work the stats: Effort vs Reward- Everything taken into the encounter will be lost when u get blind sided, SO- going in 'naked' has always been the best option for me. This is a Scavenger game NOT duel to the death, so achieving your goals are preferable to 'winning' ie Leave early-there is no shame. My shelter is nowhere near maxed, BUT I still recover more valuables than I lose (usually).

I go naked but I just take with me A-KM and 91 bullets and I be running all around the map the moment I see someone I immediately push and scare them and take them out don't give them chance to defend. Cuz they will be loaded with loot and guns and scared to lose them, but for me? I don't even give a fuck about my AKM if I lose it whatever it's just 1800 to make new one 🤷♂️

As a relative noob (500+ encounters) I was really intrigued by your premise here, but I'm not totally convinced. I set aside the crafting table for now, as I don't have many plans. The table is useless without plans! I enjoy the food collecting and weekly crates so much that I am hooked on food production, but I will take your advice and focus on the airdrop now. I just seem to get mostly junk in the airdrops, but if that's where the plans are, then it's worth it. Keep up the funny and helpful videos!

Great advice! This sounds very close to the way I proceeded to complete my shelter. One piece of advice : Treat your shelter upgrades like a business, be methodical. Don't just upgrade the next item because you can. Think about the consequences of using those materials on that instead of a better future upgrade.

I know im very late to the game, but absolutely love it so far. I understand your point about the crafting table, but my biggest issue is i dont have plans. I play elimination regularly and donate every week, but crates just dont seem to have them. I dont know if devs changed something, but plans are non existent for me. I only have the "free" thompson plan and thats all.

Utility room is more important first than chemical distillation I think because to make armor and portables it cost like 10k mats. If you max out your Utility room it knocks it down to 4k. Chem distillation should be upgraded 4th for better mats total

Most people have so many millions of materials they could never spend them all And I have 50-150 of every gold and purple gun which breaks down to a bunch but I’m not in any hurry to decon that stuff. I just Decon all the useless stuff not worth much but even still I make more materials than I do spend Although I don’t have port or armor plans yet but I make a ton of iodine and other random consumables The thing is with everything talked about here is that everything is always changing and what may be undeniably true one season might be the opposite the next.

Great vid JF. Sucking less, your advice is golden. Realised how important that crafting table was when I saw when armour becomes craftable. Shootouts, still nervous but t occasional 2nd, and 2 wins, there your wins mate. Lots of 3rd/4th last, there mine🤣. Chems 🤮. I hate em. Need heaps. So I only do shootout and burn through crates hoping chems. Sick of encounters, find some, then die. So haven't done encounters for a couple of weeks. Good? Or bad philosophy?

Thank you, bro! I'm a big believer in facing ones frustrations and fears, I know you're not afraid of the game you know what I mean 😆👍 If it were me I'd be running encounters over and over again. When you get killed, especially on some BS, get right back in game. Set aside what just happened and learn your lessons from it. If you don't face the things that you're avoiding they become a big deal in your head and it'll bother you. I know this from experience unfortunately 😬...😆👍 When I first started the game I was so bad. Well below average. I kept getting owned over and over again. It really bothered me. It bothered me more than a video game should.

Thank you, bro! One quick thing that can help if the game "startles" you a lot. Put your headset volume as low as you can while still hearing people within about 20 meters. This games audio is truly amazing and lifelike. If your headset is too loud it can start messing with you because every breeze will rustle the leaves or make other sounds that can put her your hackles up. That's just me tho. Your mileage may very😂

The black and red striped one? That's called "Lopapeysa (Nightmare)" it was in the store for Halloween. I would have said you'll have to wait until next Halloween for another chance at it because that's how it's been with the other holiday cosmetics. That being said I think they're not doing that anymore because I saw it for sale again less than a week ago in the store. If there are clothes you really want that are not always available for purchase even if you're not going to play at least login once a day to check the store because it's changed daily 👍

The best and fastest way to get the Blueprints that are NOT from a Legacy Battle Pass is getting Airdrops. Go for the Airdrop every game no matter what. I'm not sure if you can get blueprints out of shootout or elimination crates right now. But I'm guessing you could but cannot confirm currently.

NEW PLAYERS grind elim crates I have over 700 of them rn, but when I first started the game I grinded them tell I had 1000 elim crates, I got all of the plans in the game outta them and it gives you so much stuff for base updates, materials, guns and consumables it's definitely worth it to stack crates

Good tip from a purely economic outlook! The only thing I would argue against there is that when you're playing eliminations you're only getting good at eliminations.

Sagbruk has A LOT! Probably the best map for getting those. It's such a small map and it has a lot of great concealment so you can run around the whole map several times without being seen to get all the chemicals if you're careful. Fjellkanten does as well but it's turned into a complete campfest. Ever since they restricted the amount of Pings we can carry it's nearly unplayable. Batterie is decent for chemicals as well but that map is infested with TryHard SweatBags so be careful🤣

Your video is absolutely, also, getting crates is easy a hell with elims. I've been stacking all weapons that I get from elim crates, special crates, etc. And I've got at least 10 of each military type weapon.

Consumables are more important than guns because you'll never, ever, craft any of the good weapons. Water might be #1 then chemical. But chemical and work bench don't matter unless you have the plans anyways

Wouldn’t most skill be obtained in Shootouts and Ellimination

Those modes are good for practicing fast reactions and shooting but they don't teach you how to play or survive Encounters. Gunfights are maybe 40% of being a good player in my personal opinion. Knowledge and thinking fast in weird situations will save your life more often than being a good shot.

I stopped playing in February because of the NPC Bots and because the noob Shield was literally driving me crazy. I tried to keep my mouth shut about it but I also wouldn't make videos for a game that was going to do that. Then the devs told me I had to make positive content or I was out and I told them I wasn't going to lie for them so I'm out 😆 Know what's SUPER messed up? A Perma banned me from Reddit so I couldn't even tell people about it. That is some childish stuff right there. And I should know cuz I'm very childish.

@@aKeyMaker Huh, I agree with you on that generally but only so far. I don't do that a lot. Sometimes I go weeks without it. That being said some acts and people need it tho. Foreal. BushLosers and certain players have it coming because it's the only consequences they don't like. Maybe it'll encourage them to stop 😆 I actually find doing the finger way more offensive. I'm continually shocked it's in the game.

What about getting the plans for those find and consumables that only come from crates? I barely even see a green box let alone a gold one in game nowadays. Most the stuff I've earned wasn't because of building it either. Back when you could use a pm and take someone's p90 when skill was more, now this game is becoming more trash. They need a complete revamp of their system... I've played since the beginning and I'm less happy with the game compared to when it began.
