I see people is commenting on not eating food from the Dollar Tree but stay ordering food off the McDonald's $1 menu, Wendy's 4 for $4, getting the Michelinas frozen dinner for 88 cent at Wal-Mart and so forth. It's no difference.

D Barker --- Most, not all, Dollar Tree foods have high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils and monosodium glutamate (MSG) in them. I read all labels before I buy it. I do the same at any store. I don't buy fish that comes from China either. Their water is very polluted there. Most stores sell these things. I know that it's difficult to know what's healthy and what isn't, but I try to educate myself and do my best.

Always a turd in the punch bowl. The title wasn't what's the healthiest thing at the dollar tree or safe for the environment or the rain forest or kids in Indonesia. Ya know, every single product sold in every store, someone could find something wrong. Really sick of the rude preaching. Go take it up with your congressman.

Yeah, she said in the beginning, "I feel sick lately, I don't know why," and all I had to do was see that boxed, processed crap white flour/white sugar breakfast she was recommending. I'm not trying to be mean, honest -- but that's the reason right there. Eat crap, feel like crap. It doesn't have to be expensive to eat nutritiously and not get sick.

@XxdoncelladelmetalxX7 жыл бұрын
Niki Gurle I think what she was trying to say is that a lot of times we go in there and start going crazy grabbing things off the shelves because it's so cheap. We start buying extra crap that's just going to lay around the house that was an impulse buy because it was only a $1. We justify the purchase because it was so cheap. Now some things at the DT are well made but a lot of it isn't. A lot of it is flimsy plastic stuff made in China that's not going to last a long time. How many times have you bought an item at the DT that just ended up in the garbage? Plus, I have seen crazy youtubers that go on massive DT hauls and I just wonder what are you going to do with all that crap? Lol. Just my thoughts on what I think she meant because that's how I feel.

I am a housekeeper for my job. I do laundry and ironing a lot, having to starch clothing all the time. I used Faultless spray starch from Walmart that was a pain because it always flakes, even though the can says it doesn't. Recently I tried the starch from Dollar Tree, and I love it! I do not suggest dollar tree food choices be your first choice of consumption. its processed foods and very very very unhealthy for us. its one dollar for a reason. now when you don't have a choice I understand because I've been in situations where food was needed but I only had two dollars until Fridays check. I've since learned if saving money is my goal dollar tree isn't the answer. make your own and freeze it. one week buy bulk ground turkey make sausage patties freeze them according to your needs. they can even be cooked cooled then frozen. make waffles pancakes French toast in advanced cool and freeze separate according to need. freeze individual meals. for those who have room in the budget purchase a vacuum food saver create individual meals vacuum and save. initially it seems like a lot of work, but you save money in the end so much more than shopping food at dollar tree and its healthier because you know what's in it and all those poisonous preservatives aren't in it. use dollar tree as a back up just in case oh damn all I have is two dollars moment, my humble experience

Watching you reminds me of my childhood. My mother divorced my father when I was four and even though she had a good job with the railroad, in the 60's, she made less than the men who worked under her! When I needed school supplies we went out in the field behind our apartment complex and collected cola bottles to cash in at our local convenience store and walked with the money to Woolworth's to make our purchase. My clothes came from Goodwill, the return rack at JC Penney, or my mother made them. I learned to sew in high school and even made my formals myself for school dances. Keep up the good fight, Sonya. Thank you for your advice and God Bless You!

Crazy Messy Life You have to know your prices. I was lucky to get the Real Cold meds & hot drinks for the flu over the summer. And they expire in 2018. Things like that are a great deal! :) I get the Libbys canned pineapple too! And the Epsom salt is a good deal! 😊

I just came in contact with the Red Hot 3 weeks ago at Shoprite for .88 or .99 cents each. There were 5 different varieties, and I bought 4 of each because my 16-year-old is a Vegan and needed to spice up her veggies. You made so much sense! I have been very careful shopping at Dollar Tree, although I purchased 2 Colgate 4.6 oz Toothpaste tubes using my .50 cents off coupon and paid only .50 cents each, I did that because I was unable to purchase toothpaste for less that $1 that particular week. I usually purchase my toothpaste between .59 and .88 cents before using a coupon, so you're right, the Dollar Tree is not always the best bargain for your buck! Just found your channel and subbed, would like you to check out mine, including my Dollar Tree Haul from less than a week ago! Thanks for caring and sharing - Hope you're feeling better!

I live in south Mississippi. Our summers are awful hot. I have a toaster oven, which has the convection fan in it. I love it. When it's so hot outside, I use my toaster oven. It doesn't heat up my house like my big oven does. I see you like yours as well!

I don't know if you've reviewed this on another video, but my absolute favorite thing from Dollar Tree is Louisiana Supreme Original Chicken Wing Sauce, 17 oz. bottle. I put that stuff on everything, including eggs, and even though it tastes rich, it doesn't have the calories in it that butter-based wing sauces have.
