Everyday I have people come in my store and believe the books they have are worth thousands of dollars or that they have a gold mine they can retire on. As far as I know there isn't 1 book from 1984 to today that you can sell and retire.
If you can't grade a Comic stop looking them up on auctions, I can ask $5000 for a $10 dollar book but when it actually sold for $8. Most LCS will pay 30 to 40% of your books actual selling cost at it particular grade.
I will show you what your book sold for in its particular grade and then make my offer. Ask your self has anyone ever done that for you? I highly doubt it.
