As an African American I want to move to Africa. Preferably west Africa. I was looking into Nigeria. Yes it’s very popular and a lot of places there remind me of the African American communities. But it’s so crowded. Next I’ve been looking into 🇬🇭 Ghana. I’m really really feeling Ghana. A peaceful country. Very beautiful women and a country whose economy is rising. I just want to be close to my people. Don’t get me wrong I love my people here in the states but to be around a black majority and everything else is the minority will be beautiful. I’m still young and would rather live the rest of my life and be buried In the mother land. My bloodline comes from west Africa. I’m going to do a dna test to see what tribes I come from. My grandma claims we descended from the Ashanti and Mende. And my dad side one of my aunties did a test she came bk Fulani and Yoruba. I was shocked. I think Mende tribe comes from Sierra Leone 🇸🇱. Just letting you guys know I love you all. No matter the past I know who my people are and proud of it.

As one of the historians mentioned, slavery continues after 1807 until 1830. However, the British and the American navies were patrolling the seas to arrest illegal slaves traders. When illegal slaves ships 🚢 were arrested by British or American navies instead of taking the slaves back to their native lands like Senegal 🇸🇳 or Gambia 🇬🇲 , slaves were transported to Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 if captured by British or Liberia 🇱🇷 if captured by American. This is one of the reasons the Mandingo or Mandinka tribe is spread out all over West Africa. This is my opinion based on many readings and observations from many documentaries on history on many African countries. I truly enjoyed this documentary and thanks to those who made it possible. Not forget to mention, Sierra Leone was purchased by the British to return free British slaves back to Africa, so as Liberia was purchased by the American to return free American slaves who wanted to return to Africa.

AnonyMUSE what the hell ??🤨🤨 How can you start judging me when you know nothing about me ?? I hate racism and I’m never racist. When I was in Africa no one talks about slavery or racism , I knew nothing about it and there were no books to teach us either. When I went to Spain, I have been discriminated for my colour and I felt horrible. Even when I went there I still haven’t learnt about slavery and what was done to my people. However when I came here to England, I started learning about slavery. I read books and understood every single thing that have happened. Even here I still get those racist comments, but now I know how to deal with them. And you have no right to say that I’m acting victim by cursing white privilege. It have been my oath since I found out about slavery to do anything in my power to fight for justice, for all those innocent people that have been forced to leave their country. I know slavery is still going on, and I want to stop it. I’m a girl, and at the moment I have no power to do anything at all to help. I’m only fifteen, I can’t sign petition coz I have no bank account, nor can I travel on my own. I’m glad that you are doing all this to fight for justice, and one day I want to do the same. When I’m *CAPABLE* So please do not accuse me of being someone I’m not, and will never be in a million years. *I LOVE MY SKIN COLOUR, AND I’M PROUD TO BE ME* ✊🏾✊🏾💔💔😞
@aisecream3458

Diane Catts please seriously 😐 Just because I wrote that comment you too are calling me RACIST ? Everyone grows up at their own speed, and I’m following the right path. I’m not misguided by anything or anyone. I’m well aware that black people sold their own people, but I’m also aware that there are people out there that use their privilege as a power to maltreat others and take advantage. I do not hate white people,nearly all my friends are white xd 😂. And as for my first comment, when you read it interprete it however you like. You will never understand my perspective on white privilege. You all think that I’m racist, wow best joke ever 😒
