My fav Korean show host! I love his down-to-earth personality, how he makes guests feel comfortable during interviews and the way he takes care of his juniors. After hearing his life story it seems that this is truly the core of his character

It made me so grateful that he had the resilience to put through the 10 yrs of constant failures and setbacks and still push through that one dream of being a comedian coz if he hadn't we wouldn't get these megahit korean shows and his example that he set for other comedians and show hosts, his humbleness and his extremely warm and inspirational vibes... After 10 yrs of hell he gets 30 and more years of continuous upscaling success and respect due to his humble and kind nature and hardworking persona.. It shows us...the greater the fall, the greater will be the rise... I cannot imagine how did he go through all those years, must have been so suffocating for him. But I am glad he didnt stop and likewise i wonder how many people usually stop trying after several attempts when maybe they could be almost getting closer to the best stuff ahead and miss their chance without knowing all the life what they had lost. It gave me a big lesson of always keep trying for that one thing ur heart cannot give up easily. I am glad i found his kind of persona and can get inspiration from him.

This is why, people say they won’t be able to live up on how YJS lives his life.. He endured so much and those hardships kept his feet on the ground and it is tough to be humble especially if you are the center of public love and attention..

Damn, the least person I expected to have stage fright is Yoo Jae Suk because he works in entertainment industry and met countless of people, standing in front of huge crowds but look at him today. He inspires me, I have a stage fright too. I want to remain as humble as he is and overcome my greatest fear.

He deserves everything, the best, I keep watching all variety shows he participates in and it's so funny and lovely, he's not a snob, he is genuine and don't worry about almost anything, he does everything to make people laugh and feel as comfortable as possible

his story life make me goposebumps. who would have thought a successful and the happiest person has a saddest past life. He suffered a lot but he can manage it by himself and also a lot of good friends/colleague to help him. Most MC's in talk shows and interview puts the guest in hot seat (irritating questions) but yjs never does that makes them feel comfortable with his quick comedy. I watch Happy Together it was a great show he is really great mc and a good man. ❤️

the fact that he surpassed everyone as MC in this video, jokes on his ex-senior he couldn't even pay for yjs as fellow comedian, but now yoo Jae Seok pays for his dongsaengs' food every time. I hope he ignored everyone who insulted him at the beginning of his career

I normally cannot stand long documentary type videos too much but i enjoy this one so much! I have always respect yoo jae suk but this makes me respect him more. Never knew how much pain he had to go through. I'm glad he keep pushing himself cause i cannot imagine korea show without him. He work so hard, let this be lesson for all of us. This is very inspiring. I almost cry. This is so touching. We can feel he is being genuine as mc. He is respectful yet entertaining during work and out of work.

@@aldyshinwa They are both considered Top MC's so it would be too expensive to have both on one show and it would take away oppotunitues from others. If anyone remembers the Runningman scandal where they were going to take Kim Jongkook and Song Jihyo out of the show in order to add Kang Hodong but of course thankfully it didn't happen. I think it's all planned tbh. Both can hold their own shows having just one lead MC which gives more opportunities to rookie entertainers or other comedians and actors to also be on the shows and helps boosts the careers of other people. You'll rarely see many top MC's work together in one show now and each lead their own respective shows.

Our number one teacher in life is the challenges we face all through out our journey. Yoo Jae suk is such a wonderful person that everyone he'll meet will truly adore him. He deserve all the praises because he never give up while reaching his dream as well on helping other young dreamers to be a successful artist. A wonderful lesson that we as dreamer should also know, is to believe on ourselves even when there are lots of people that will under estimate our capability to be better and be well known .Dream big!. i'm not an avid viewer of variety shows but whenever I watch one and he's there, I end up liking the variety shows because of him.. He just have that humble, down-to-earth, pleasant personality wc makes both the guests and the viewers comfortable. ofc he's also quick-witted and very respectful. so glad that everything worked out for him💗 he did all that with perseverance, talent and let's not forget his good personality wc I think contributed the most to the longevity of his career.

As an American (USA) aged 38, I find it fascinating to get a glimpse into the world of Korean entertainment through Yoo Jae-suk. I've lived in the US my whole life, and the media here is dominated by Hollywood, news, and a variety of other shows. But with the advent of KZfaq, we have a wild new way to experience internationality. We don't often get to see people who are popular on the other side of the planet, so I'm humbled to have this opportunity to learn who Yoo Jae-suk was and what people are like in the past.

We can still see his nervousness with cameras on Running Man at some moments where they played simple yet confusing games like the "strawberry game" or anything like that. He's such an inspiration not just to Koreans but also to international audience. His strongest "weapon" in my opinion is how he chose his friends over fame/money. Kim Yong Man, Lee Jung Jae and probably some others who I dont know much, are one of the biggest factors in his life that he could endure all these hardships. I respect him more now after seeing this video, I didnt know just how much he had suffered and was shocked that it started since his school days.

I have studied in about 5 schools and I must say that it took a toll on me. Like I don't have any childhood friends and somehow I grew up to be an introverted and shy person. There were times when I avoided talking over phone with my friends. Eventhough I overcame it now, sometimes I really feel inferior to my superiors and I must say that it takes a lot of time for me to become friends with someone.

Same with him, i had also stage fright or scoptophobia. Imagine, i was awarded for several times as employee of the year but i used to decline it because i don't want to speak in front of many people. Currently, i am already contented when people admire and appreciate my works output. Maybe someday, I am hoping to overcome this kind of phobia.

I want to point out the spiritual symbolism of the Grasshopper: The grasshopper can represent abundance, achievement, astral travel, courage, fearlessness, fertility, forward-moving, and thinking, happiness, intuition, longevity, leaps of faith, patience, peacefulness, wealth, and virtue. I think this was one of his life's turning points and there's so much to learn from him and the way he's carried himself through all these years.

There's an episode in Running Man where the mission is to steal something from the members van. He got into KwangSoo van and saw KwangSoo wallet is empty and put some of his money inside it. start watching his variety show in 2003 i found he's hilarious.. after found out about him this man inspired me so much i became a huge fan of him and only watching K- variety show when he's in it. My eldest son changed schools 13 times in 10 years life for a Armed Forces child in the UK. We are so lucky here in the UK School is free unless you wish to pay and we have Universal Healthcare.
