When people like you talk about divorce, it makes a huge difference to the people (women especially) contemplating divorce but not being able to proceed with it due to the fear of what people will think...your story is inspirational.. Been through this situation 13yrs ago. Sometimes people simply just don't understand and I don't care to explain it to anyone or everyone. My mum supported me but my father didn't. I don't remember many of the details now. I have selectively erased it from my memory. You are amazing. You can still remember many details at that time. This requires lots of energy to recall and tell. You are as usual amazing. This is why I like you a lot❤

Vithya - I am so glad you said that you talked to him for ten hours because I did exactly that with my now fiancé - we were introduced last June and then I thought third call in why don't we do a video call. Low and behold connections are terrible so after 2 one-hour calls, I just said I can't deal with this so lets talk. Give me a phone and I talked to him from 10 pm that Saturday night till 9 am the next morning, and the only reason I got off is because I had to take Appa somewhere....love this video - in depth, emotional and full of spunk you are!

Hello miss Vithya, first thank you for sharing your experience. I came across your channel I think 8 years ago, when I was searching how to pleat a saree. Thanks to you I don’t look like humpy dumpy in a saree. You are truly inspiring. Being different or not doing what society deems as normal, the people in our community can be judgmental and honestly brutal. I am not married and people are so mean to me because that. They treat me like a second class citizen. The things they do and say are soul crushing. Despite me being be highly educated and a kind person and being always a good girl. Because of that I became very introverted. I pretend to be invisible. So the last thing you said, not to hide in your shelf and put yourself out there. You can imagine how much that cheered me up and gave me hope. So thank you very much. I wish your and family all the best. May your life be filled with joy and laughter.

I have put my foot down to get my freedom back but he can never get over me and chose to give me endless mental torture. I was so vulnerable . I do agree at times we got to learn to adapt and accept not all people are just not meant to stay in our lives. My mum and my family supported me .
