Hello Soumi, Thank you for these videos. It is no exaggeration that your videos are the best in this genre. I have seen multiple forums and KZfaq channels who give hours of content but at the end you don't get the main-point or you get an exaggerated opinion from the panelists, sometimes contrary opinions among the panelists. I have seen a few videos from this channel, your content is straightforward and often calls a spade, a spade! Especially the video on consulting ( Myth breaker- No hard skills after consult). Your videos are just the right length and to the point. Kudos! Keep going!

For consulting you should checkout case books. Might be able to get by doing Google search or via lan if someone has - such as Kellogg's case book, ISB case book, case in point, etc.

Sir just one question As I got to know that previous year ews category student was selected at 80 percentile also So I'm a fresher With 10/92.2/86 in acads Bsc agriculture hons which means academic diversity 7 national gold medals in debate, extempore and many more So sir can I get into IIM Bangalore with 90 percentile in cat Please do let me know

are these enough for iim calcutta or FMS delhi 10th-75.6% 12th-68.8 % Ug-74% while adding percentage for these grades i lost about 9 points when i calculated so would that make it difficult to get IIM calcutta

There are sufficient jobs for freshers and for lateral hires. So no one is at a disadvantage really

Usually investment banks don't come for placements at end. Other banks don't have any such criteria

U need to prep on building your profile, doing leadership activities, projects internships etc. Exam prep can start later…usually 6-7 months max 1 yr is enough for exam

Bhayia yeh btayie jo core IIMS ABCL to inme jo highest packages milte hai jaise 60-70 lakh ya jo domestic offer hote hai usme bhi 40-50 lakh agar jaata hai to usme bhut log yeh kehte hai ki in hand salary apko ek dum se 3 lakh ya 4 lakh nhi milte hai

It's tough in initial years but starts improving from year 3 onwards. Plus now the banks are more focussed on providing better work life balance to it's employees.

I feel super upset when I see these people , don't know y I'm even watching it. My parents gave me the best education I didn't study rather I was dumb I'm 25 yrs earning 30k a month. I don't even stand a chance in these Top colleges even if I manage to get in Top 40-50 colleges in India the fees is 18-20 lalks well we can afford but then again I regret I don't have a profile. I have high n burning aspirations but then again I feel too low , I have been an average my entire life. Love u bro keep smiling yr smile is enough for an unknown brother like me to feel motivated n move on🥺

Didi is it still the scenario that the bulge bracket banks jp, gs, choose from summer interns and not come on finals? Maine bhi bhot bar dekha ki maximum log ppo wale hi the and to top it they were some less than 5 with 2-3 being CA's.

It has become so risky to leave a good job, take a 25-30L loan in hopes of getting into bulge bracket IB even tho we worked as a tech analyst there especially with so many CA all india rankers in IIM ABC.

@@kriti2179 IB doesn't have a lot of roles. Usually mostly filling in people who leave and may be 1-2 extra headcount every year. But IB is not the only place u have to go after MBA. Soany other good options to choose from!

Yes for sure. In fact in IIM Bangalore, consults preferred to shortlist people with more diverse background like DU and even in Banks CAs etc do get an edge as well
