It would be great to have seen the quilting design from the back of the quilt too. This kind of tutorial really helps me with the actual quilting part. Even just drawing it out on the quilt as I don’t have a foot for ruler work.

I do not have a ruler foot and have never done any ruler work. I have a walking foot. Would that work? What are the advantages to using a ruler?
