So were starting to modify the Jaguar XFR, as it is definitely too much of a grandad car right now, so firstly were getting the chrome blacked out (which there is WAY too much of) and then were popping down to Zaustworx to get the exhaust done on the 5.0 supercharged V8 Jaguar XFR! Gary has two options for us; we can either have an exhaust with a medium size box in, or we can go for a straight pipe; of course we are going for a straight pipe.
What have we done?! this is my daily! do you like it, or should we put a couple of boxes in there haha?

That last down shift before the video was crazy. I got a 2011 XF Supercharged. She's crazy fast. Hit 172mph a week ago, been looking up every mod since to max it out

It’s a shame zaustworx don’t have any MG ZR or Insignia VXR exhausts on there. MGs cheap but exhausts for the VXR are so expensive 😩

2 bigger single pipes would have looked better. Sounds great though. Just found they do a backbox delete for the GR Yaris for a fairly reasonable price, may have to "do a buy"..

Top video Lee, just one thing I noticed about the de chrome, maybe tint the reverse section of the rear lights, it would look more pleasing on the eye than ending abruptly as it does. Just my opinion.

I have done this on my xfr, I had the chrome strip wrapped in black and then wraptor customs have some special made tinting Strips for the reverse section, certainly makes a difference.

@@itsleelockwoodjust for the reverse section? FYI if you are planning on getting it stage 1 mapped you should seriously consider wraptor customs, dudley the guy who runs it is super nice guy,knows his stuff and is ex JLR tech.

Sounds mega lee, i have spires boxes on my xfr and they are loud enough for daily driving. Just a thought mate but i really miss an intro to your channel, do you think you will ever put one back on? Be good to see one with some drift/off road & jaaaaaaag action 😊

@itsleelockwood I need to see your airboxes as they changed on a certain year, next video you do show us your airboxes please. Mine is a 2014 so my maf's stayed put, I just took the top of the air box off and fitted the ram airs. I do have 2 ram Air cone filters which have covered about 20 miles if your interested mate? Have you got an email so I can send pics to you?

That's exactly how I felt 18 months ago, so I went out and bought a 2014 xfr amd I've daily driven it ever since, faultless car, took us all round Cornwall last summer when fuel was £2.15 per litre for super unleaded......fuck it - we only here once ❤😊
