the crazy part to me is that there's still a bunch of music from the second song you didn't hear/show lol but I wouldn't expect you to systematically go through everything there's quite a few variations

The second choice is the "chorus" so that choice alters the song depending on the other choices. For example try Blue, Red, Red, Green... and see how the song from that point the song changes. My theory is that anyway... I like the multi color songs much better than same color straight through.

I think that's how basically all the songs will work, based on the Persephone song they played at the live showcase. It seems that one early choice will determine the 'hook' for each song, and many other choices will riff off of that hook but take it in new directions. I also prefer the multi colour verses overall, one of my favourites from the demo is the ending verse of the "time to shine" song if you pick blue as your last choice. Bangers all round tho

@@jackiecozzie4803 Yes multi colour choices are the best. My favoriete combo is Blue, Blue, Green, Green, Red, Red. It really takes you on a journey 🤩

I love the changing metaphors and visuals that change between options, and the fact that you dont *have* to select options that tie into Grace's personality, weaving a changing song. In particular, I think it was cool how one choice left Grace in the spotlight at the end, alone and decides to go with Freddie, then on the other end Freddie is in the spotlight, and Grace is trying to explain how she cares

red grace's song is in fact badass !! but it kind of didnt really make sense to me like it felt like it didnt fit to pick that in the context the game put...but its the most fun pick for me. cant wait for this game, cast is awesome and music is awesome !

why don't you think it makes sense? In my eyes, she's just found out about this awesome power and wants to make use of it and "shine", but she just gets angry that these two people are fighting for possession over her, especially since one is meant to be her best friend who is supportive of her and the other is a total stranger who thinks he's her lord and saviour. also sorry if this comes off at all rude lol I didn't mean it like that I'm just terrible and conveying tone over text hehe

@@cait812 ah right I didn't catch that. I've also heard them mention that they thought chorus was a bit basic for what they really had in mind, although that might just be rambling so it's less obvious that they had to change it for this other game I guess lol

I don’t think we have any info on either of those properly, although I feel like I heard somewhere that the game was relatively short (but I’m pretty sure they meant as in they don’t have hundreds of hours to develop romances, not necessarily that it was a super short game)

@@flaminyawn that's what I'm thinking, even if it is a short story the numbers they've shared about how many different overall variations of playthroughs there are (upwards of millions, if you're being pedantic about small changes) would mean that I can still get MANY hours on this game lol
