The TLR-7® HL-X USB high-lumen, multi-fuel, rail-mounted light is engineered to produce a longer reaching, tighter beam. It accepts either Streamlight’s SL-B9® USB-C rechargeable protected lithium-ion battery pack or a single CR123A lithium battery. Interchangeable rear paddle switches accommodate your shooting style.

It depends on the holster. The face cap is longer, so some will have an issue. For holsters that are open at the front, it will fit.

This is what the TLR-7X should have been. Finally a good replacement for the larger bulkier TLR1.

Do the bolts break like they do on the TLR-7 sub P365? I've broken 2 bolts in ~1 year. Maybe I can find an aftermarket bolt that isn't so flimsy.

@@Valley_AZ unfortunately according to @streamlight you cannot do it. Which is very unfortunate and quite dumb of them to not make them both compatible with each head. This makes me want to switch to surefire but they honestly don't make a good light for the micro pistols either.

@@Valley_AZ if their numbers are true, it might kinda be worth the upgrade IF you don't have a holster yet. But it won't be worth getting a whole new holster made for it just to get that extra candela. I've done plenty of low light training with my tlr7 sub and my trl7x and the light output is adequate for 99% of pistol self defense distances in my opinion. At least for just seeing your target with no luminescent barrier to overcome. But if you want to blind someone who's also pointing a light at you the new HLX version should help overcome their light and give you the advantage. Just my 2 cents. The average conceal carrier will not need that extra candela or lumen output. It is simply a luxury. But for professional use it could be a great contender.

It's the same except for the face cap so you'll have to take a chance some holsters will work with both caps some it'll hit

I will make this comment as short as possible. Three years ago I purchased a Protac 1L 1AA,new in the package. It no longer works with 123cr batteries. After all this time, I no longer have my receipt. I have tried more than a few times to call your company, and have either been put on hold, or no one answers at all. My flashlight has had no abuse to it at all. I just want it repaired or replaced. I've read that MANY people have had the same trouble with their own PROTAC's. Any help resolving this problem would be much appreciated.
