Its amazing seeing a 10 year old console with a 11 year old hardware hitting 60FPS in 2023

To be honest, I thought there was not much difference in background between PS4 and PS5, but I was surprised that there was a big difference in the number of NPCs.

They actually scaled down pretty well on the base PS4, I didn't expect the game to run at locked 60fps with 1080p resolution on the battles on it, not bad for 10 year old hardware, they even made some additional tweaks to the PS4 Pro like texture quality and shadows instead of just bumping up the resolution like most games do, great job Capcom ! I would even say that Street Fighter 6 performs better than Street Fighter 5 overall.

I bought it for my ps4 slim, and I'm enjoying the hell out if it. The loading times are not that bad. Compared to Tekken 7, the loading times are a breeze.

60 frames is all I needed on Base Ps4, will be getting it!

The loss of people in the background genuinely makes the ps4 version not a good option to me, the game NEEDS those people. It gives the right feel idk how to explain it. But in a pure gameplay standpoint ps4 once again is a perfectly fine option

i appreciate that the game looks nice on the PS4, but the PS5 has that finishing touch. gotta save up and get a 5. i love playing SF6 with my son so far though.

I didn’t even notice the PS4 had less characters in the background until I read a comment. That being said, I am very impressed with how they optimized the PS4 version with some tweaks.

Ok. This answers my question. I have this game on PS4 and I was wondering why some gameplays I saw had extra people in the Guile stage. I thought maybe I needed to change something in the settings but it's just a different platform type of thing. All good then 👍

For people who say there's no difference Click 4:09, then click 4:20 PS4 looks like low settings on PC while PS5 looks like high or ultra

I like that there's not a huge gap between PS4 and PS5 which means even if you're in a 10 year old console you get the same experience. Sure some stuff will be less like graphics and NPC's but you can enjoy the game no matter what. It's similar to what GoW Ragnarok did between PS4 and PS5. But it's time to leave the old gen behind and 2023 must be the final year for games in this gen.

This reminds me of playing the Super Nintendo version of street fighter 2 compared to the arcade .

They all have good framerate, thats the important part on a fighting games, the rest does not care, even more, a lot people online just use the lab grid, which is the most simple an dead background.

I would like to know the difference of Resolution and Performance in Fighting Ground on the PS5

I’m curious how the pop-in is in World Tour on the PS5 cause it’s atrocious on the PS4. NPC’s won’t even be loaded in when you run to their location and the logos on clothing will be low LoD for ages.

Smart move with NPC I must admit. All versions looks great IMHO.

Trust me when you have the PS4 version in person it looks amazing and then obviously the PS4 pro version is quite good and then the PS5 version probably is the best

Well...time to get a Ps5..I thought something was off when I started playing the Ps4 pro version I knew there were people missing from the background.

Loadings times should be way better on PS5. In RE Village and RE4 remake they are almost non existent.

Now i felt ps4 base and xbox series s both were actually holding back next gen experiences, so we only see very minor improvements ( graphic wise ) in modern era consoles PS5 and XBOX series X . But in other hand, base consoles, they made handheld gaming more accesssible and playable in 2023 ( i'm talking about ayaneo, gpd, steam deck and rog ally ). its a win win solution for gamers actually.

The games graphics are PS4 Niveau.. in Arcade mode some nice stages and characters in story mode then really bad.

I'm playing Street Fighter 6 on PS4 slim and I noticed that in game that the life bars at the top of the screen and the two character portraits of the two corners are cut off a little bit and the names are cut off of the fighters, some of the world tour in game font on the corners is cut off, now my TV settings are normal All my games look perfect except Street Fighter 6, is there any in-game settings that I could fix this problem? Or is anybody else experiencing this?

I think I’ll get this for my ps4 pro over my ps5. Save my ps5 storage for games that look much better on ps5 than the pro and games that aren’t cross gen at all. I’ll get this cheaper for my ps4 pro, a pre owned copy and the arcade stick pro is only around £40 on eBay. 1440p and 4k isn’t a big enough difference on this game to justify me getting the more expensive version for the ps5. On my qled with my hdr calibration for my ps4 pro, games already look incredible and look current gen.

Characters models look the same but the lighting , npcs and backgrounds look better on PS5.

This games looks like it was meant to promote PS5 in detriment of the PS4; on such small and empty areas, with extremely limited AI and interactions, the PS4 cannot do water transparency and shadows on main characters? Horizon, God of War and others would have some words to say.

Es obvio que la mejor versión se la lleva PS5, pero vamos eso que aún capcom piense en los usuarios de PS4 ya es un logro y detalle lindo, para una consola de generación pasada que ya no tiene más por dar, la verdad son detalles mínimos, sobretodo los npc que de seguro no salen más por lo mismo para darle una estabilidad adecuada y miren ay estan los resultados, a nivel jugable es muy cómodo no se puede pedir más! Quieres lo mejor de lo mejor en gráficos y tiempos de carga vete por una PS5 o mejor aún una PC!

It's a shame it never got released on the Xbox One as the One X could do near enough 1800p, 60fps.

Crazy how they managed to go from SF5 to SF6 in the same generation of hardware. Even from PS4 to PS4 it's like a next-gen upgrade. I suppose that says a lot about SF5's bad art direction more than anything else.

The main difference is the NPCs, the other things you even can remember in a gameplay. Everbody loves the Training Stage, then the differences is even more imperceptible 😂.

ps4 version suffer of a terrible bug on hairs-beards like a strange reticulate on them (expecially ken, cammy, Dhalsim) not noticeable from the video sadly.

Sinceramente... eu tenho o Street fighter 4 e me lembro da quantidade absurda de NPCS, que existem nos mais variados cenários daquele jogo. Tem um cenário nele, chamado Crowded downtown que tem um monte de NPCS, que ficam torcendo na rua, passando de bicicleta, caindo da bicicleta quando rola um ultra combo, conversando em um restaurante, caindo do telhado, um cão passando correndo e tudo isso no Xbox 360! O Street fighter 6 tá lindo tenho ele no Playstation 5, mas sinto prego da Capcom em alguns momentos do jogo!

On ps4 it s all blurry, even characters ... Tried the demo. It s much worse than you can see in this video from a smartphone... Try on a 55 inches tv... Probably it s like on pc at ultra low settings...ps4 can do much more. (Mk11 has a way better graphic). If you have ps4 wait to get ps5 or series x... This game on ps4 does not looks good. Anyway runs well at 60fps.
