Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, released as Street Fighter II Dash (stylized as Street Fighter II′ with a prime symbol) in Japan, is a fighting game released by Capcom in 1992. It was launched for arcades and converted to several video game consoles. It is the first of several updated versions of Street Fighter II, and part of the Street Fighter series. The main changes are the addition of the four grand masters (the final four computer-controlled opponents in the single-player mode) as playable characters and mirror matches. The fighting techniques of the eight main characters from the original game were further balanced for competitive play.
Champion Edition was followed several months later by Street Fighter II Turbo.

I would've loved to have seen Bison's backstory in flashback cutscenes in at least one of the SF games. His final Psycho Crusher in SFA3 is still epic 😁😎

I remember when some stupid magazine, or something called the psycho crusher the "flaming torpedo". Which made me go through childhood thinking the move was the flaming torpedo, which in retrospect is the dumbest name you could think of, but it took me a while to accept psycho crusher as the legit name. Perfect example of innate bias or something i guess.

We all called it that back in the days. It wasn't until years later, we noticed it was called Psycho crusher. The name Flaming torpedo was cool for what it was and back then. Good ol young days. The Flash kick was called razor kick I remembered but I do prefer somersault since that is the official name now.

Does anyone know what is in the code that determines what causes a character to get stunned in the game? You can almost feel it when you are playing when it will happen, but I'm always curious what the code shows to dictate that.

I don’t understand why the computer keeps choosing the original street fighter character colours even if you play as the championship colours (dark blue Ken or grey ryu). Yon still get red bison, Blue Sagat, blue Balrog as opponent bosses.

Basically in old Street Fighter there are 2 types of grabs, normal and mash grabs. The mash grabs' damage will depend on how much the person performing the grab mashes, the more he mashes the more ticks of damage taken, and the person receiving the grab also mashes to get out of the grab faster. In human vs human this isn't an issue since both players mash around the same. But the computer cheats by inputting an insane amount of button in an inhuman time. So basically this mash grabs from characters like Honda and Gief can insta kill you. As a note: how much time you spend stunned also depends on how much you mash so that's how you sometimes see the computer get out of stun instantly.

나는 아는 것 없는데... 나는 저 게임 잘 하는 거 아닌데... 나는 저 게임에 대해서 자세히 모른다. ↙? Punch (x2~x3?) → ? Kick Again? Repeat? ↙ ? Punch (x2~x3?) → ? Kick 무한(infinite? infinity?) 공격 가능하다는데... 얍삽하다. 부당하다. 1번 걸리면... 1번 성공하면... 실수 안하면... 실수하지 않으면... 상대의 에너지 전부 소모할때까지... 가능하다던데... 아무 것도 모르는 어릴 때는 바이슨... 성능 나쁘다고 생각하고 싫었는데... 바이슨... 기술 사용하려면 방향키 모아서 조작해야해서 항상 기다려야 하고... 느리고 나쁘다. 나중에 저런 무한 공격이 가능하다니... 놀랍고 얍삽하고 부당하다. 춘리가 넘어질때 저 동작 너무 좋은데... 그리고 춘리가 누워 있을때... 추상적인? 시적인? 예술적인? 그림 그릴때 표현으로... 착한 표현으로... 부정확한... 비밀스러운 표현인데... 산이 보인다. 우뚝 솟았다. 오목하다. 볼록하다. 공 이라던가... 한국에서 사용하는 식사용 큰 그릇... 밥공기... 좋다. 그... 다리... 너무 좋다. 그... 저 게임을 잘 하는 사람들은... 약손 Weak Punch 상대에게 가드(Guard) 시키고 → Hold? 잡기(Throwing Arts?) 하는 이상한? 방법도 있다. 알 수 없는 이상한 버그 같은데... 바이슨... 손에 불 붙어서 상대의 장풍도 없애고... 상대가 맞으면 데미지가 높은 줄 알았는데... 가드 데미지도 없다. 그냥... 특별한 것 없는 연출이다. 그래픽 효과였다. 가일도 상대와 가까운 거리에서 중 손... Midle Punch 상대 점프 공격 이기는 줄 알았는데... 마음에 안드는 거 같다. 잘 모른다. 가일 상대랑 붙는 무릎 공격 그 공격으로 컴퓨터 압박하는 거 보고 좋은 줄 알았는데... 나쁜 거 같다. 화가 나는 거... 그 발로그... 권투 선수... 너무 성능 나쁜 거 같다. 마음에 안들고... 남자 캐릭터들이 음성이 전부 똑같아서... 마음에 안들었다. 하도켄 인데... 아도겐으로 들리고... 소류켄이 오류겐으로 들리고... 타이거가 마이걸... 라이거로 들리고... 가일 소닉붐은 마덱쿠로 들려서 화가 났다. 마음에 안들었다. 왜 난 류를 골랐는데... 혼다랑 목소리가 똑같지... 화가 났다. 케이오 순간... 우워어 그 비명도 마음에 안들고 웃기고 화가 난다. 혼다가 춘리 베어허그 할때 보다 남자 캐릭터 베어허그 할때 표정이 더 인상적이다. 춘리는 베어 허그 당할때 표정이 마음에 안든다. 캐미가 혼다 베어허그나 발로그 잡기 당할때 마음에 안든다. 그리고 장기에프 또는 사가트 웃을때 호 호 호 그거 산타 클로스 웃음 소리 같아서... 이상하고 신경 쓰였다. 마음에 안든다.
