This film is actually fun to watch, it's definitely not a good film but you have to love Raul Julias performance and the silliness of the whole film😅. Cammy was played by Kylie Minogue who was a popular singer at the time😅

IMO it's about 50% fun, tongue in cheek Adam West Batman-style campy romp, 50% dull slog. Not the best mix, but I've got a soft spot for it and Julia is a hoot.

We all wanted a more serious film I think , but what many don't realize is that this movie is a action comedy, thru and thru. It's purely just all in fun. When Hollywood execs thought video games , they thought little snot nosed kids with poop in their pants playing Nintendo all day. And this is a movie for them.

To Be Honest actor Michael Dudikoff (formerly of The American Ninja Franchise ) would have Fantastic as Colonel Guile! Sincerely why to this day for The Life of me?! Did they not Pick Dudikoff! Aka Joe Armstrong of the American Ninja Series! Believe you me Dudikoff a Veteran of That American Ninja Film Franchise though David Bradley took over the last 3 Films of the Series though Dudikoff did Come back to Help David Bradley in one of those last American Ninja films! Again Dudikoff would have been The realistic one and he had the Similar Hair?! Come on! I can see why Jean Claude Van Damme got it because this at The Time JCVD was on hot streak action Film and think he had Timecop in the same Year as this?! Even at the time of Filming I heard At this Point this Is when JCV was having Substance Abuse issues abd and while on the Set of this Film his major infeldelites on then now Ex Wife Darcy LaPier while on set and Slept with the lovely Kylie Mingoue (which by the way was his Co-star As Sgt Cammy) anyways i heard the Filming of this was hot mess some caught mulleria or got sick because of the water while they Filming in Thailand Raul Julia excellent over the top last Performance sadly as Street Fighters Flagship Villain General M.Bison as Well Raul Julias Health Decline (RIP) yeah Director Steven E De Souza says there was a lot difficulties with this Rendition of a Street fighter movie!
