It's finally time. We have finally reached the point where we can stretch out the Metropolitan. There's a lot of data here, so allow us to go through what we did.
We used all Ruckus stock 49cc modifications. We used a 9.5in frame extension and lowboy shock from NCY, added a new brake shoe also from NCY, with extended brake, throttle, and fuel line (75in brake line, btw) and added on a nice Yoshimura exhaust. The exhaust will not clear the Met's fairings in the rear, so adding it on when we stretched it was the only option.
YOU WILL NEED TO USE A GRINDER TO CUT FRAME EXTENSIONS AND PARTS OF THE FRAME. See the video to see where we added notches and such.

How much extension do you think the Ruck wheel and shock made without the frame extension?

The wheel didn't fit right without the extension, it rubbed. The stock shock couldn't bear a lot of weight, but its physically shorter. Without the stretch kit, it just doesn't work.

i've got a swingarm and stuff in the mail right now. i plan on using the stock met wheel and tire for now. from what i've seen, with the stock wheel i shouldnt need a different shock. what do yall think?

I haven't found a shock that fits the stock Metro wheel location at all.

Is the the stock metro case and swing arm?

Yes. Later I converted to a Ruckus swing arm. Wanted the gearing from a ruck for my weight and the swing arm for an easier time buying belts and wheels.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE STRETCH KIT

The stretch kit was acquired from the Ruck Shop. As you see on the video I also had to modify it some (my skills aren't the greatest, wish I had a high power dremmel tool for some cuts and burr trimming) but it otherwise fit spot on.
