By far one of the best if not thee best video this channel has produced. Keep em coming! Would love to see an Arcade vs NES comparison of Robocop, Bad Dudes, TMNT. Also Sunsoft's Batman on NES vs Genesis.

The art direction in Strider Hiryu arcade (and ports) is fascinating to this day

This blew my 14-year-old mind when it came out!! 😂 And playing it a couple months earlier at the arcade!!! And it played exactly like the arcade if not better❤

Another great video! Strider was a showcase for the Genesis back in the day. Solid port despite the limitations.

Strider on the genesis was a masterpiece. I just wish they animated the slash just like the arcade

I mean they did their best. Arcade has more ram and it’s 3x bigger in game size.

Genesis had awesome arcade ports better then SNES, especially shmups. Some of the enemies even looked better on the Genesis 🧐

Now that you point it out, the trees in Stage 4 look so much worse than the arcade.

But the port was amazing. I remember buying this game. It was the first 8meg cart for any system back then. And it was $79. Expensive but amazing. I can’t imagine what they could of done with a 16meg cart.
