Veggie specifically makes a deal to not get hit my the stonecoil and then 2 turns later dies from it. Feel like a lawsuit should be in order for that infraction of the partnership.

I believe Breena is even more broken at the 12 min mark. 2 opponents were attacked with greater health than Megan. The card doesn't say 1 or more opponents are attacked.

As a Breena player, I can confirm it triggers for each opponent who meets the criteria.

There were a lot of missed triggers, but thats because there were just too many triggers tbh. I know I wouldn't be any better this game.

As someone who loves Breena, I’ll say that her rules text is one of the most complicated bs on a modern magic card.

Brenna is also at her most dangerous when people don't understand how big she can get especially with the colors she's in. Had a game where I got her out turn 3. Played duelist heritage on turn 5 and killed someone with commander damage.

when you attack multiple opponents "with more life than other opponent" breena trigger twice, for future reference. Breena are one of my fav Commanders. love to se her playd! :D

31:07 Power Dragon couldn’t have put the counters on Stonecoil Serpent, Quandrix targets and Serpent has pro multicolored :(

Great game! I met PowrDragn at Magic Con Chicago. Super cool dude. Megan is always such a great guest on the show, too. Veggie had a hilarious look of, "why am I still alive?" when he was popping off. I loved it.

18:00 there would've been TWO triggers for Breena. So Draw 2 and place 4 +1/+1 counters.

So because Gix ignores timing restrictions (the ruling says "you cast these spells as you resolve Gix's ability") Beastcaller will get no counters as all of those spells are cast at the same time (though in any order) and Beastcaller will not be on the battlefield to see the casts. Still doesn't change the end result though

I was looking to see if anyone else realised this. It's very important. I've seen someone target a storm deck with it and attempt to win by "casting guttersnipe first then casting the rest". They were not happy to learn how gix works lol

Halfway through, but people keep forgetting the first Gix ability applies to any creature. Anybody can pay 1 life to draw if they hit a non-NerdGirl player :D

For Megs last attempt to live, she could have instead Boseiju'd the rat enchantment that was swinging for 7, which would have allowed he to live at I believe 3 and do the thung she wanted to do (get back transfusion and swap life totals with Nerdgirl).

gale wouldnt trigger from the pongify since it was cast from the library (gale only triggers when cast from hand)

I don’t think it mattered but for future reference when nerdgirl activated Gix the beastcaller would not have gained any counters since all the spells are cast simultaneously.

Question on Megan during her final turn. She said she was 1 mana short. But wouldn't she have had that if she had tapped her Pristine Talisman, and THEN paid the 10 life to Untap all Lands?

pongify was in fact cast from the top of library,not from hand so should not have triggered gale, not allowing jeskas will to be played

I see people saying that PowrDragn 'broke his deal' but you need to rewatch the Pongify moment. Veggie talks *himself* into targeting something other than the Stonecoil in exchange for 'vibes'. He never actually gets Dragn to say that if he doesn't target the Serpent that the Serpent won't attack him. He *hopes* it won't and, sure, Dragn is happy to let him think that but they never make an actual deal.
