There’s a myth that only “old people” have strokes, but around 10-15% of all strokes in the U.S. happen to people under the age of 45. Because of this stigma it can leave young stroke survivors feeling frustrated and invisible. Let’s talk about why this happens, what we need to understand about young stroke survivors, and what you can do about it.
