Both Brighid and Pandoria are national treasures of their respective countries’ royal families, and they’re about on par with Mythra (as explained in the video)

That makes sense, also one other bit of evidence for Kos-Mos/ T-elos being at lease on Mythra level. During battle, Kos-Mos may comment that her battle output is on par with that of Mythra's (I think it is when you switch Kos-Mos for Mythra).

The main problem with this is that Mythra's insane power level doesn't come from her strength as a blade, though she is very impressive in that regard, it's her control over Siren(s?). I don't think that by herself she could sink a titan, but the Sirens are fucking orbital strike style nukes. Those could reasonably take on anyone as long as they're able to stay far away enough to shoot their beams from a distance (because they seem to be pretty fragile; Ophion handily takes down one by itself and a Saviorite rebel ship took down one by itself) and the person they're fighting doesn't have a flesh eater ability that happens to completely counter it (lookin at you, Jin). Otherwise, with Siren, I'm sure Mythra could reasonably take on anyone (besides Jin) and match Siren, the only reason she doesn't do that is cause she doesnt want to sink another continent by abusing Sirens power.

Poppi is an anomaly. Form 2 Poppi's energy output impressed Mythra. But form 2 and form 3 are never necessary for the cutscenes or maybe never possible. There are a couple of reasons for that. One of which being that Tora has expressed in cutscenes and Heart to Hearts that he is not a good driver and has been holding Poppi back. The second reason could be her ether furnace reserves. We know that it is not unlimited after Tora's warning to Rex. Poppi pleads to Mythra (not sure if it could also be Pyra if you chose her name) to destroy her if she ever goes Maverick (Megaman reference.) This is in a time after Pneuma was revealed. The reason is because she saw that an entire titan was sunk because of a blade and she feared her own power to do the same. I do not consider Form 3 Poppi as canon to the story because she isn't in any cutscenes, but I do consider it to be Poppi's next form. In the dream sequence when Rex fights all of his friends, he fights Zeke and Tora together and once again Poppi is in Alpha form. It is also mentioned that everyone had a similar experience. The question is when the others fought Rex who was he using? Pyra, Mythra, or Roc? Rex wasn't using the Aegis in his battle, so it's possible the Aegis wasn't in any of the fights forcing Rex to use his only other canon blade (besides random Wind Knuckle), Roc. My theory is that they would be fighting which ever name you gave Pneuma. And I disqualify Pneuma herself as a possibility because I do not believe Morag or Nia would have gotten past that. What does all of this mean? Give Poppi a genius driver. Update Poppi's ether furnace. Canonize her 3rd form. And I believe that alone would surpass an Aegis without Aion. Poppi in 100 years? It won't even be a question.

After looking at Nia vs Malos again, her cancer was definitely impressive and could take out many opponents that couldn't hard counter it, but I actually think what she does earlier might be even more impressive. Malos was using Eater against Zeke and was being pushed back by Nia's power surrounding Zeke. Then Nia pushes a little more and _SHATTERS MALOS'S EATER!_ That's not hax; that's not subverting an opponent's defences; that's plain and simple _overpowering the opponent with brute force! And against an _*_Aegis_*_ no less!_ What _would_ be hard countering would be that I believe Nia would be able to defeat Zenobia's enemy. Its biggest strength is regenerating any damage almost instantly. Regeneration is Nia's specialty and her cancer attack _weaponizes_ it. This enemy doesn't have a core crystal to regenerate from, so Nia could turn its greatest strength into its greatest weakness, killing it from the inside.

About the Mythra VS bright thing, I think Mythra didn't use her "full powers" agaisnt Bright on thise fights, because come on, if they use that power every time while training Torna would be destroyed WAAAAY the fight beetwen Malod and Mythra, it's kinda like Goku only using Super saiyan 2 in a fight even when he can use super saiyan god 2, he doesn't go full power, just use a controlable power

If Mythra really wanted to she could easily crush Brighid and Poppi as well as any normal blade because she holds back her power to avoid heavy damage. Pyra on the other hand is weaker than Mythra but she’s still more powerful than a normal blade I would say Brighid is on the same level as Pyra rather than Mythra

I think you forgot that combat prowess and the vaguely defined "power" you're talking about are different. Mythra has Siren, among the other powers of the Aegis. No other blade has anything close. I don't think Brighid could compete in an all-showcase of power with Mythra at all, but she's of almost equal skill with her weapons in a sparring match. I don't think comparing them with a vague idea of "power" really explains anything.

I just got the dlc today and it's fun

I mean, I think its like this. The Aegis are strong because they have various haxx due to being the centers of the whole blade system, but their physical bodies can be outperformed by specific rares. Wulfric has superstrength, mythra doesn't. It stands to reason that Wulfric can lift heavier weights than Mythra. And that is indeed a kind of strength.

I would like a tier list on blades cannon power levels. It makes sense for Malos to be on Mythra's level or higher, he wouldn't think about restraining himself like she would. I'd lean to Malos being stronger one on one vs Mythra (no Pneuma) considering she's been asleep half a millenia.

I have genbu drifts for Tantal, Cataracts of Rujah in Uraya, and Melnaths shoulder in Gormott. Are these the Titans actual names or not really meant to mean anything? (I know Tantals Titan is called genbu)

As it is implied that all light type blades gain their power from the Zohar instead of ether, it should be likely that all of them are at about Mythras power ( cannon wise ). T-elos is cannonically about as strong if not stronger than KOS-MOS btw. You could have added some of their respective accomplishments from the Xenosaga-series but then again, I don't know how familiar you are with those games. Also you forgot to mension both Blade Eaters as they are on/above the level of the flesh eaters

i am almost 100% certain that kos-mos and t-elos are roughly as powerful as pneuma and here’s why- kos-mos and t-elos both originate as characters from the xenosaga series where they’re both extremely powerful machines that draw their power from the zohar. there is STRONG evidence that the zohar in xenosaga is the conduit of xenoblade- they have the exact same shape and colors, and work the same- drawing near-infinite power from another dimension. in other words, kos-mos and t-elos are functionally aegises- possibly even prototypes for the three aegises klaus would go on to make. it seems like monolithsoft is going the route of tying all the xeno games (not just xenoblade) together, so we might get more info on this in the future

How I see the Blade Tier Lists: Full Powered Malos and Pneuma Full Powered Jin Mythra Nia Torna Flesh Eaters Jin Fan La Nore Bridgid Pandoria Weaken Malos Shulk (Due to only having the Monado 1, easily on FP Malos and Pneuma level if having spoilers) Zenobia/Herald/KOS-MOS/other strong rare blades, could also see Poppi QTpi Pyra Poppi QT Poppi a Dromarch

I believe the best feats you will get for KOS-MOS and T-elos are in xenogears and xenosaga because their characters are based off of those games as well as their attacks

A part that you forgot to mention about Brighid is that in Chapter 4 Mythra says that if Brighid was using her full power she would have to go all out as well.

Without watching the video (I have my reasons) I'm gonna say I don't think the 2 Aegis in XC2 had really tapped into their full potential. My evidence is the fact that Malos pulled a freaking Monado on you and still lost, then never used it again. I feel as though all the Aegis have the ability to access the Monado and wield it to an extreme extent but Ontos was the only one who really put any effort into learning it. Kinda like in Smash Bros when everyone sleeps on a character after release because it doesn't conform to what was "good" in the last game but then months later someone who actually dedicated themselves to that character shows up with some busted new skills and suddenly everyone learns that the character is actually good but different. I feel like Malos just couldn't master it so he stuck to what he knew and Pneuma plain wasn't interested in that kind of power at all or never tapped into it (directly). And Klaus could tap into it but the part of him that could was... Uhh... Lets just say he was running a support build because his main was on a different server... Long story short though, the XC2 universe seems to have more generally powerful beings in it so with the Aegis on top already and with access to Artifaces AND knowing that powercreep won't be an issue unless something gets past the Crucible or Opheon, the Aegis didn't need more than they already had. Ontos on the other hand was working with a blank slate of a world but 2 people in particular found the hax code and he had to figure that shit out before things got out of hand. Luckily he had plenty of time to lab it out after the 2 hackers crashed their own systems and the damage forced them into a LONG ASS REBOOT Wait, I'm talking in pure metaphors now... Screw it, I'm a modern black guy. If we don't speak in 60+% Metaphors, we're not having fun 😂

QTπ was a missed opportunity to have her unlocked in the story, her design is too good and she is amazing combat-wise to have her in an optional side quest

Depends how you define stronger? i think Briget alone would rate Pyras ability to retain her memory far stronger than some battle powers for example. And the Agisis ability to syncronize with instruments alone blows out any normal blades even rediculess powerfull ones like Jin. What would have been able to Stop mythra if she went mad once awaked? She could just Obital bombarded anything that isnt hidenn inside a titan and probably killed millions directly or indirectly. We dont got to see Malos own instruments were pyra/mythra had 3 bound to them at least. If ophion werent damaged pyra would have been able to concoll it. MYthra controlls sieren and opion at the same time probably during the Torma eara and there is a bit muddy while pyra and mythra together controlled aion that part is a bit unclear and unlogical sice pyra basically is a sealing for mythra with its own personality how does that worked during the agis wars and how did she actually came to be?

I also disagree with Siren not counting as part of her power :P but that aside, we see that she still has Pneuma’s power without turning into Pneuma (the ability to create what you imagine). When she fights against Malos, we see her use the same speed that she used against Jin the first time she awakened Pneuma. Of course, Malos was also able to do this which shows that Malos is more powerful than we were aware from the base game.

You forgot KOS-MOS is from other xeno games but that might not be canon, I don't know about core crystals and whether AI could've taken that form (I know the trinity processor definitely did but other core crystals have the Morytha explanation for existing or whatever) but if this is indeed the same KOS-MOS as the other games, she's at least as powerful as an Aegis.

There certainly are blades that are "stronger" in terms of pure one-to-one damage than Pyra/Mythra, and that's actually something lore AND game mechanics based. But, perhaps astonishingly, there is a lore and game counter to that. In terms of lore, the Aegis controls artifices and quite literally break the rules of the world, so even IF another blade would "win" a fair fight, the Aegis can ensure that no fight would be particularly fair. In terms of game mechanics, as far as I can tell "Ascended" Pyra/Mythra put any other blade to shame in terms of raw damage, but of course that state is extremely limited. However, Pyra/Mythra offers two element coverage for one slot, and Mythra can be built in ways that quite arguably break the game as well. You can build up driver combos and have combo options at a rate no other blade can match (as well as the ensuing Chain Attack which eclipses any DPS rate any other combination of blades by an order of magnitudes).

I feel an important note about Poppi is that she was the only blade in the party capable of using her power in Tantal's prison in story, and in SCE in gameplay. Sadly, the Aegis is conveniently taken away during these portions. I want to say the effect would be similar to Obrona's ether disruption, but Poppi _was_ affected by that, so I don't know how to scale that. All things aside, if _any_ of the blades talked about here unleashed their full power and channeled it into pure destruction, all of them (with the exception of Nia) would cause incredible damage.

My issue with this is that the arguments for how strong some of these blades are ...is being based off of statements. I know that it's one game so you don't have a lot to go off of, but if you're going to powerscale you really don't want to try using statements for justification since they're not to be taken literally. Rex's statement about Zeke and Morag isn't fact that they're on the same level, that's how he sees them. One can be far stronger than the other. Also I think you kind of undersell Pyra here because we don't see her fight herself too much, also the times that she has lost can be attributed to Rex being a poor driver throughout a good portion of the story before he actually starts growing. It's always interesting to see videos like this, but the only blades I can see being stronger than Mythra based off of what we are able to see in game, is completed Malos and then Jin. I'm really only going off of story since I don't have all the rare blades. But the way I see it, you'd be better off trying to find feats to support rather than one sentence a character said. Like the whole thing about Zeke =Morag and so Pandoria = Brighid is a rather large leap of logic, not going to say they aren't strong blades, but I think even Pyra is on another level than most of the other blades. Nia FE is powerful in the sense that she has powerful cellular manipulation abilities, but I don't see her combat prowess being high enough to even beat Pyra lol. I mean all in all this is really just opinion, but I can't agree with a lot of this because it's based off of what characters have said rather than what we have actually seen.

And then Alvis just resets the universe. Althrough that's probably because he has control of that world or whatever.

For against bridgid you have to remember that Addams wasn’t the driver meant for mythra, haze would weaken mythra And mythra was less experienced and more cocky (but all of that was from the torna DLC)

Fan/Haze has the power to restrict blades and titans, and can cancel Mythra's foresight, so she is technically the same power tier than Mythra if not higher.

I highly doubt the Brighid vs Mythra sparring session were anywhere close to full power. They were most likely going on weapon skill and small fractions of their power.

While dromaorch might be one of the weakest blades in game. Blade form nia was able to turn the tide in the fight versus malos with her powerful healing powers to counter all of his attacks. She even placed him in so much pain that he backed off a cliff. This the the most damage we've seen anyone done to him except for pneuma of course

Is Mythra really that much stronger then a rare blade without Siren and her foresight? Malos seems more combat focused being tanky and has Hakaishin aura.

Poppi lifted a cannon, therefore she is stronger than the blade who was made by the blade that was literally made to be the strongest blade in Alrest.

I'm going to go out there a bit with my little contribution. If we go by stats alone, not story stupidity, (Mainly because what happens in chapter 9 also spoiler real quick) Patroka. Now hear me out, just by stats alone, and by how much damage she alone can do, it's insane. When she can be dishing out constant 999,999 if you set her up right during a battle, it's literally just insane on how much power she can do. While mythra is more damage dealing with how her arts work and such, and trust me she is a great blade, but holy shit partoka literally gives me numbers that not even true pyra/mythra can do in a single attack.

No hate but when Rex, Mythra, Nia, and Dromarch were fighting Rosa in chapter 4 without Poppi they admitted that Rosa was too strong. But 25% into the battle when Tora came in and QT was awakened, the battle became much easier and they beat Rosa easily. This would mean that Poppi QT is about as strong as Mythra, and Poppi QTpi is a bit stronger.

Pyra is a bit stronger than a rarity 2 blade. Mythra is a bit stronger than a rarity 3 blade. Pneuma is a goddess. And Electra is Number 1

What about a theory where Mythra can create other "sisters" like Pyra but with other elements like water, wind, etc.

When discussing pyras power level I feel like you're not taking into account how rex was holding her back for the first half of the game. They lost the fight with brigid because rex didnt know what he was doing. End game pyra would be way stronger than early game pyra, because rex got a lot better as a driver. You gotta give my girl some more credit

Its honestly quite jarring how useless mythra really was for the majority of the game.We're constantly told that she's this "godly power" and yet for some reason,the group has trouble with people like brighid,who's power seems to conveniently drop post joining,and nearly every single blade/flesh eater,all of whom are apparently god-blade level tier because "THE POWER OF SCIENCE".its such a weird thing to discuss,especially when the story puts such heavy importance on an aegis's power.
