Hi, as for the practical details (furniture, accommodation etc.) we'd recommend you ask about these with your new Finnish home university, they usually can advise you best on the "local" matters! And the journey to your apartment - it depends of course *where* you'll be studying in Finland :) To start with, you can easily get to Helsinki centre (main railway station) by local train, they leave regularly from the HEL airport - from there onwards, it depends. Again you could ask your Finnish university :)
