The US still rallies in South East Asia heavily to defend against China, but their true agenda again is to not let China's leader gain more power in territory and economy or again let communism gain more influence. The UN eventually took in China, and now her influence over the UN involvements grows rapidly even until this day. Today, the stigma around communism is fading, but the relationship between communism and capitalism remains fragile. Wars around the world today is all about political stunts(aka flexing military power or sending threats), shifting the mass's attention (blaming other nations for worldwide issues or fabricating a cause that catches the mass's attention like wildfire). In the current generation, people invade government buildings with their freedom, instead of making one correct vote with due diligence with their freedom. Meanwhile, the youth grow up flooded with news of bad representation of leaders, so they come up with ways to be free from any avenues where there is a rigid system in place (aka classrooms, 9-5 jobs, going to college, and for some might be their home). Yup, so see y'all in 2030..

In actuality johnny was more well spoken and did believe in the ideals of globalization but it's sad that it wasn't an real. The UN is definitely more about the control of powers and status quo. Europe is still in Africa. America is probably the biggest colonizers of today and it's unfortunate that these ideals were not very practical. The west should've been upfront because this was mostly about furthering the control of resources if we're being honest. Asia is still poor and Europe still is in Africa, globalization isn't ok every country shouldn't be on the same standards and that thinking has created extreme nationalism, that's why Russia is trying to retake Ukraine over resources and China is eyeing Taiwan so they can be "proud" Chinese again. The reality nowadays is true. Every country wanted to use the American native accent even in the professional world here in the Philippines--especially the BPO industry since they need to cater services to the American regions. But the world lost the touch of aunthenticity and uniquiness that the English language and its pronunciation should not need an international standard. These young and intelligent representatives of their countries during their times can be clearly and sharply understood, without the biases in the pronunciation.

Like growing up in my country we usually refer to a black person "negro" but it is only referring to their skin color and nothing else. I have lived your dream. I taught elementary school for 12 years (00-12) here in Nashville, TN (a melting pot of refugees). In 2002 our school district decided to segregate (in a way) non English speaking students from English speaking students in self-contained classrooms. I was at a large school and the last six who were hired were told to get their certification in ESL or find another job. I looked at it as an opportunity and I went back to school and I got my masters in English as a second language and in curriculum and instruction. I began to teach a self-contained kindergarten classroom with up to 20 to 25 students who did not speak any English. this was an experiment and those of us that did it worked hard learning strategies to use and attending training & meetings to discuss ways in which to deliver instruction, communicate, pinpoint pros and cons of being self-contained, and we did not always see eye to eye, especially when it came to annual standards and goals and expectations etc. I found that having higher expectations of my students, led to higher literacy rates. I did this for 9 years and I enjoyed every minute of it. I had students from over 35 different countries over that time. Many people would ask me if I knew Spanish and I remember replying to them that that wouldn't help in my classroom because I had students from Iraq, Yemen, China, Burma, Vietnam, Russia, and Bosnia. I had a student from Egypt whose father spoke Farsi and mother spoke Spanish. I had a student from Venezuela who spoke French. I had students from Afghanistan, Thailand, Nigeria, and Ghana. I loved her she called me 'madam'. I felt very fortunate to have known all of these children and even more so a great sense of pride the couple of years that my students who came into my classroom not knowing any English were exited from the program by the end of the year passing their Reading writing listening and speaking exams higher than their English counterparts in regular English speaking classrooms. What I enjoyed most was the sense of appreciation I got from the families (especially the middle eastern women who said they never went to school or went for 1 year in a cave), the cooperation I got from the families, and I learned so much about the world through our constant communication (right after 9/11, I asked a lot of questions about their experiences and knowledge of being discriminated against by Hussein's regime and genocide and weapons of mass destruction, mustard gas and it's affects on villages and reproduction, the banning of Kurdish books, and escaping through Turkey, etc. Stories never spoke about in the media during the war there. The students were taught to be respectful. They were taught to listen and pay attention. They were disciplined, unlike our natural born black and white kids who I was teaching when I resigned, who were very disrespectful and spoiled. The last couple of years I taught ESL in a third grade self-contained classroom and then they started integrating again. I discovered those who were in the program still at that point and had not yet exited the program, most likely wouldn't have, because there were some other developmental issue going on. Another issue I faced was with the illegal immigrants. I had many students from El Salvador, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Columbia, or Cuba whose parents were reluctant to accept resources or other types of assistance with children that had disabilities because they were afraid they would be deported. These children were much more mature and family oriented than ours. Although the Spanish speaking population was obviously the largest in my classroom, I had numerous students every year who were Kurdish and Arabic who took great pride in where they came from. They would discuss their fathers first wives who were usually white and bad! I was intrigued to learn that most of these 9 year olds were taught that they divorced and married their mothers because white women like me, smoked and drank and did terrible things. That was disturbing (most likely a path to citizenship). They still called their home country, Kurdistan. The girls were always easier to teach than the boys and would return to the classroom years later in the second and third and fourth grade to check on their siblings to see how they were, like mother figures. They were always brilliant and intelligent by the end of the year and usually the boys would catch up to them by the next year, but I could definitely tell a cultural difference in how genders of children were treated in the home. These children soaked up everything I taught them like sponges and I feel so fortunate to have been there to do this during that time of self-contained ESL classes. I proved year after year that having high expectations for them enabled them an ability to learn just as much as natives despite their cultural and language barriers! I haven't spoke much of this in about 10 years, but you brought up a great time in my life when things actually were much simpler! Thanks

Not really, we are living in a democratic world. People are free to do whatever they want and that is the world now. There is no such thing as a better world, You live in it and you die in it. You live in it's society to experience how good it is or how bad it is. Everything Changes even so technology influenced the masses. I could say we are living in a better world now, Internet pretty much allowed people to connect to each other and learn other cultures which bridged the gap back then. The question is would you rather live in the cold war where a nuclear onslaught could happen at any time or right now where people are just a bunch of memers while others are just practicing their freedom of tiktok. So there is no such thing as a better world.

There were many people like these teens, but their words are just capitalist speech exerting their right to freedom. Even if they said great words, they were just praising their current state of the world and the cold war against communism. There are many great people out there in history, but sadly in order to change the world then words are not enough. Someone has to spark something. World War 1 ended most of the monarchies in europe allowing us to live in the new ways, World War 2 ended the tyranny of the Axis powers so that people could be free. The Cold War allowed us to see how ruthless ideologies can be. Even the idealogies that sparked a change in the social classes due to Karl Marx words was enough to cause massive changes in the way people think and all of that because of a fucking book. These teens never wrote their books and never said anything that were valuable to the world they were just merely praising the world for what it is they never intended to make something significant they were just merely presenting themselves in the world stage allowing us to understand that unity together could bring to a better future. But im saying again because at a point of time it would break again, Words were never enough at the first place. The only way to get a better world is if people stopped exerting their ignorance due to the freedom of speech but that is also another problem given that freedom of speech is a product of democracy and everyone is favoring it only to abuse it for nonsense. The three teens actually agreed that the human freedom should not be limited yet Johnny got things right especially how he said that human freedom should be limited. Which is should be given that too much power to the masses can allow that power to be abused easily. Democracy led to slower processes in the current world governments, their own people slowing them down. You said that "If the world have listened to this teens maybe we have a better world right now..😌" Well the world tried to make things better like how the United Nations made stuff to fix the problems of other countries however it was simply not enough. There were so many boundaries blocking the path to a "world peace" as such the cold war still occurred. The world cannot be perfectly better and this is what i am trying to say. You don't need to think about the world, The world is fine as it is and it is completely normal to be that, everyone in their own generations during the 17th to the 19th century up to the two World Wars thought that the world is shit too. It is all in our minds.

Yes, this kind of friendly debate focus on helping to solved problems that happen that time. But unfortunately we still facing same issues because Communism and Socialist survived. We have been dumb down to a level that we solved things emotionally rather than with reasons and logics. 2020 and 2021 is a great example of how dangerous Communism and Socialist is.

Actually if you talk to most of teens individually today, they are curious and at least have a general knowledge of it as an average person. But if you try to refer them in groups, peers come in and they'll get scared of being called "nerd" or "uncool"; gradually making themselves oblivious. Although these teens in the video are exceptional, because they are made for international relations and geopolitics, so theyre not just average kids.

actually a lot of our youths in the Philippines are critical thinkers and do speak out. The problem is that a lot of Filipinos (mostly older ones) do not care nor want anyone speaking out that is not according to their own views. For example, kapag nag sasalita ang isang Filipino tungkol sa presidente at ang view nito ay panget at ineffective ang kanyang ginagawa, kahit may FACTS or articulate ang speaker, SOBRANG dami padin sa atin ang close-minded and hindi marunong makipag debate ng tama or kayang tangapin ang idea na lahat ng tao may iba-ibang pananaw sa buhay. Essentially, Philippines has a culture na kahit matalino ka, articulate ka, marunong ka mag debate, marunong ka mag critical thinking DILAWAN ka padin kapag di nila gusto ideas mo. Yan ang totoo. Lack of open-mindedness for other people's ideas.
