One of the things that my teacher does that your teacher does is the stupid rule of "the bell doesn't dismiss you, I dismiss you." At my school, it says on the announcement the mode of transportation that students leave in, and when people leave for their bus, she says the same thing. It's just stupid! Also, can you add the name Gabriel for a student in your school shorts? Thanks, and keep up the good work! I love your shorts!

That's called abuse of power. Legally, a teacher cannot keep you unless they have a cause, and "the bell doesn't dismiss you, I do" doesn't count.

Yep. And I found that out one day after the teacher pulled this stunt and I was 10mins late for class cus next class was all the way across campus(BY SKATEBOARD). When my parents found out why, they WERE OBLIVIOUS!! Came up to school next day and never again did ANY teacher say the bell dismisses students. And that it’s actually a huge safety issue and violation to keep students in classrooms and making them walk empty corridors while every one else is already in class and no teachers or staff to supervise them. Our county superintendent 3yrs later made a statement that if the term is ever used, and teachers abuse power, they will be fired and not allowed to work in that county again and he’ll make it hard for them to get jobs in other counties. It’s already dangerous having to worry about school shooters, hard drugs, and trespassers roaming and coming on campus. But to make a student late on purpose because you can’t control your class, it’s an absolute abuse of power.
