I had wondered why nobody discussing end times events, the antichrist, and the final Beast kingdom ever seemed to draw that fact out of passage. They always jumped on the Revived Roman Empire train. It has to be one of the OTHER epoch kingdoms of the past, not mostly Euro-centric Rome. we see who the major players on the world scene are today, as in the past, that hate Israel, and those that are actively wanting her annihilation, and they are not European nations, not even Italy, but are the Islamic territories and leaders. Primarily, they are of the children of Esau, and Ishmael. You miss a main point: At time John wrote Rev - five have been - one was - and one is yet to come, he clearly says the Kingdom to come will be the one that "is not". At that time, Egypt existed, Medo-Persia existed, Greece existed & Babylon existed; the only one that "was not" was Assyria. Assyria was part of the Northern kingdom, and scripture calls the Anti-Christ by the name "Assyrian". There are 33 names for antichrist in scripture & antichrist is only used once. Look at the possibility & see what you think?

There was a man his name is Gilgamesh, in the scriptures he is called Nimrod he was also known as Molech and Osiris. I do not believe for a moment that this Beast is a spiritualized entity but is a real being a historical and biblical character and if you carefully read the account of Nimrod in the book of Genesis, you'll find many similarities with Nimrod and Gilgamesh of the epic of Gilgamesh. In the epic of Gilgamesh he leads people away from God and rebels against the Lord, he was a hunter of men just as Nimrod was in the scriptures the Beast will be doing the same thing he will be demanding worship and leading people away from worshipping the true God... leading men into rebellion against God. It appears to me that there are many things lining up with the word of Gods descriptions of the return of the Christ to rule and reign in the earth. There are a great many things that will take place before Christ return...remember all of the prophecies leading up to His return must be fulfilled to the letter. Anyone that tells you that Christs return can happen at any moment is mistaken, He will not violate the word...never! All these things must take place including the great tribulation...if you are alive then you will see it take place. Many have been mistaken and confused the wrath of God with the great tribulation, they are not the same. The tribulation is the wrath of Satan...Revelation says whoa unto the inhabitants of the earth for the Devil has come down to you and he is filed with great wrath for he has but a short time. Just as it was in the days of Noah so will the coming of the Son of Man be...Noah and those who were with him had to go through the flood. We like Noah will need to go through the tribulation to get to the other side and just as Noah and his sons repopulated the earth after the flood those who survive the tribulation will be left here to repopulate the earth for the thousand year reign of Jesus Christ. There will be no one at the beginning of the thousand years that won't be born again all of the wicked are removed from the earth at Christ return. Fallujah & Mosul are in the area of Nineveh from the bible. Nineveh, was the Capital city of Assyria Seleucid Empire. Note that the media called it ISIS but Obama called it ISIL.
