The bubble look so neat! Can't wait for the tutorial. I really appreciate how you make seperate videos for different techniques, it makes it much easyer for newbies like my self to figure out the more complex techniques. Thank you so much ♡

Saw the bubble stitch on facebook and got super excited for it! Can't wait until Saturday! I'm currently making a fisherman's rib scarf (so warm!) and I have become almost a champion at doing K1B. It's cool to know that you can knit further below, I will be sure to show this to my cousin who is learning how to knit as well so she could understand the concept. Thankyou!!!!!!!

Thank you! I have never understood this kind of instruction in a knitting pattern before, but you made it very clear. I watched this the other day and then came back to it again today after watching your bubble stitch video, just to make sure I am really doing it right. So far so good! Thanks again!

Pro tip: you can poke your needle through your desired stitch before loosening the ones above it. This stops them from unravelling too far down.

Hello, on your other "knitting for beginners" video you show us K1B, but not with the ladders, instead it is done on the needle then to slip off the stitch above Is it just different ways to do the stitch? I can see how the other method will be hard if doing k2b etc

I think i messed up my row and i knitted the stich 4 row belows but not the actual stich on the left needles, so i have more stich at the end of the row because it's as if it was some increase.

could you also just knit through the 4th (or whatever) below like normal, and let the other stitches fall off when you take the stitch off the left needle?

Hi Kristen. Thank you for all you're wonderful tutorials. I am having trouble knitting below. When I slip the one stitch from left needle, that stitch immediately gets sucked back and I have to carefully pull it back through. In your tutorial the Stitch remains there for you to pick up. Am I doing something wrong? Are my stitches too tight or too loose?

I've never seen this type of Knit 1 below. It is usually done by placing the needle in the v below the stitch. Is this a new variation? Either way it sure is interesting!

Yes, I showed K1B thru K4B the same way here to help drive in the technique for those needing to best understand how to do it by releasing so many stitches. Check out the earlier video I created on how to K1B the typical way without releasing the first stitch here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNKgocSfu7mynp8.html

Nikki I don’t take the stitches off the needle and unravel the stitch, I just count the rungs of the ladder while the stitch is still on the needle. This way I don’t drop any

How do you knit a blanket? Do I just cram all the stitches onto my longest set of knitting needles? Is there a special kind of needles?Please help
@beesandyarn
@beesandyarn 7 жыл бұрын
Marauders Geek hi there! So I'm assuming the needles you are referring to are straight needles, about 30cm in length with a little stopper on the end. Those are good for small flat projects, but if you want to make a blanket, you'll need circular needles. They have short needle tips, and then are connected by a cord. You don't have to use circular needles to knit in the round though. Just cast on as normal, and knit your first row pretending the needles aren't connected. Then, for the next rows, just do what you would do if they were straight needles. Take the empty left needle, and swap it with the right needle. Hopefully that makes sense, but if it doesn't, perhaps do a search of 'how to knit flat on circular needles' :)
@theoilyrn2702
@theoilyrn2702 7 жыл бұрын
Circular needles come in very long lengths to accommodate many stitches. Just use them like straight needles.
