Love this stuff Andy, keep it up. A restoration on that grinder would make a great video!

It's nice to see the old gear we used to manufacture her in OZ. Dont forget all the tips and tricks old delboy taught you. Remove all safety aids (even the ground wires if you must) and do not secure it to anything, except perhaps well oiled castors. See how it all comes back to you mate?

Hi mate, been following your channel for a while since I’m a long time biker Hadn’t realised you worked in Packaging. I worked for Bosch Packaging GmbH initially as Project Manager here in UK. I installed liquid filling lines in Pharmaceutical companies and other packing lines in Blue Chip Companies like Kellogg, Cadbury etc.

Great video Andy! I found this very interesting. Australian wines have a good reputation in Canada. According to Google there are 112+ wineries in Tasmania. Unfortunately, our government-run retailer (LCBO) only sells two Tasmanian wines. One is a vintage Penfolds Yattarrna priced at $220 a bottle.

Andy, you could explain how a dog takes a dump and it would be interesting but it's time to get the garage finished and to get some bike internals spread out everywhere bro. Can't you bounce something off the rev limiter until it pops.

Can we see a pic of it in action please? How often do you have to do this ? Very interesting video, really enjoyed it 👍

I got to do a fair bit of packing at the other end too, and me and my mate cracked the shits once the output got too much. Jesus my mate and I cracked the shits when the cranked the output up beyond our capacity, and the forklifts. We just began throwing No 10 cans left right and centre. Those were the days mate, when teens on the arvo shift, without any OHS rules were told to do ridiculous jobs. Like take the Crown scissor lift and remove the 6th pallet blind from a stack 50 foot high and 5 deep. I must have been psychic not to have killed anyone under a rubble of glass and pallet wood I reckon. I could hear the workers under the debris field letting out brief screams when ever the lot began to tremble, as a fork tine would crash into a bad place.

Back about 40 years ago I was working for IXL as a jam cook (5 tonnes a pop) and I was transferred to the tomato sauce line temporarily. Apparently a bloke had been sucked into the guts of it and made about 65 litres of himself in the sauce? The guys on the line took this as a bad omen and refused to work the line for a while and we were the test rats. I had really long straight blonde hair and Jesus didn't I fit a tight hair net. You'd probably not be surprised at the appalling quality of rotting tomatoes, stalks and all that were fed into this machine.

Happy New Year to you & the family Andy🇦🇺⭐️ Fascinating insight into bottle fillers & the mechanics of them! How often do the O-rings need replacing? Every year or when there is a production issue? Usually Christmas break is when maintenance is usually done here in Aus🇦🇺 Except, our frame rolling machine gets jack shit but for a can of WD-40😂😂 Cheers Champ. I just missed out on a spot to come to tassie with the DOCV

General rule of thumb is 30,000 hrs for dynamic seals and 60,000 hrs for static seals.

Really? Grease and caustic? Sounds like the type of wine in my price bracket. Also, considering your love and familiarity with Italian motorbikes, I'm surprised your not fluent in the language by now. I mean that in a loving way, coz your newest Italian babe truly sounds like the one for you. Though as an engineer, I cant imagine you needed to do a course or watch vids to catch up on this stuff, and you had a lot of it figured out in your head when you first looked at it? Something's can only possibly work in a finite number of ways and not an infinite.
