The hirogaru merch strikes again in the design department. Literally EYE CANDY. The pastel rainbow is what solidifies it for me, it's just so pretty! I can also relate to the screw vs button mechanism... Strangely enough, I have the Linkrun and Sweets Pact and they also use a button, so idk why some toys still have the screws. I bought my Linkle Smartphone secondhand and THE SCREW CAME STRIPPED 😭. Took me so long to get it out but I eventually did, thankfully. I think the midseason is also on the palette and it did reveal her color (which I won't be spoiling). I wonder why they didn't just name it the Colorful Palette or Mix Palette, since those are way easier to pronounce. Anyways Titanic Rainbow is a 10/10 attack and I think the toy version did it justice.

I'm so used to buying old Ojamajo Doremi toys and worrying about rusted screws 😭 the button is suuuch a good idea I figure it must be a thing on newer toys in general!

The paint brush on the palette (I'm just gonna call it the palette lol it has so many words) reminds me of the Kira Kira compact! Which is still my favorite Precure item so far.

for Precure I'll always recommend my favorites Heartcatch & Go Princess (they're so well written), but it depends on what you're looking for, each season of Precure offers something different I think! If u want a general starter magical girl anime, I feel like you can't go wrong starting with the heavy hitter Sailor Moon 🌙

I really like the new props! Butterfly and Wing are well due their own Sky Tones now and the palette is adorable and a unique and interesting item -- the closest we had in the entire series was an *eyeshadow* palette and this is a *paint* palette. The only thing that annoys me is that with the colours on the Colourful Action Mix Palette, people in the fandom are now insisting that Butterfly and Wing are red and yellow Cures because blue and white correspond to Sky and Prism. Rather than, you know, red, yellow, blue, and white being the colours you put on a paint palette, especially for a child the age of the kids Ageha teaches. Just because the Milky Palette back in 2008 had all the Cures' colours on it didn't mean that Milky Rose was simultaneously an indigo, violet, and magenta Cure for the three shades on the bottom! (I mean, she also wasn't considered a Cure at the time, either...)

Yeah with the mechanism of this toy and the mixing of the colors to get each member's color, there shouldn't be any arguments about it

Loved the review - planning on getting all the merch for sure, but as a former ballet kid, hearing the Nutcracker Suite at the end gave me such joy!!

Oh awesome, another english channel that buys Precure toys! I can manage getting an overview with the Japanese channels, but I don't always know what they're talking about. I wanted to know what the other Sky Tones did on the Mix Palette, because from the stuff I'd seen it looked like you needed the W Flying tone to even activate any of the games. At least there are some unique voice lines for the other Sky Tones.

Bandai's been phenomenal with their Pretty Cure roleplay toys recently. They've been on par with the Kamen Rider ones in terms of functionality. I actually wouldn't getting a Sky Mirage at some point. Plus I can imagine that the lights on it look great in a dark room.

already ordered the sky tones (wing is my favorite cure ever at this point, so like. how could i not?), waiting for them to arrive!! i'm so excited! still considering if i'm going to get the mix pallete because its very expensive (at least for me) and i'm not fully sold on it yet, but i definitely love the way it looks

i wish they could includes the other attacks of cure butterfly with the color palette ( such as she mixed the palette to give other strength and other attacks) in the B mode . if it was in included i would totally buy it.

Can you do a ranking of the precure transformations (after the mid-season cure is here) or a ranking of transformation devices used in precure (if a new device is revealed from the mid-season cure) BTW do you think cure butterfly is a mid-season cure, as I heard we are getting another cure that could possibly appear similarly to cure moonlight or cure muse? (around episode 30 to 35)

I know I'm very late, but I had a question for you. I'm thinking about buying the Sky Mirage and Wing, Butterfly and Majesty's tones somewhere in the near future. But, as someone who owns it, does it bother you that the symbols in the Sky Tones aren't right-side-up because of the fact that they spin? Is that something that annoys you or do you just get over it because of how pretty they are regardless?

It’s not something I notice tbh, but you can always spin it multiple times until it faces the correct way! The symbols won’t move unless the trigger is manipulated

Tokullectibles and Amazon Japan are great for newly released items, Mercari US is great for secondhand goods from past seasons! I did a video earlier this year on how to buy Hirogaru Sky merch that's on my channel!

There is no orange nor purple in the Sky Mirage unfortunately! This might be why the Mirage isn’t glowing in the ED, just saying!

Am i the only one who's dissapointed in the Cures theme? It's dance and music like Suite Precure and Fresh precure who has a group called Clover. Also, a few cures uses intruments; Passion with her harp, Pine with her flute, Scarlet and her violin, Sunshine with her tambourine, the entire Heartcatch orchestra forms, the Healing good instruments attack. We don't need more items related to music! I would prefer if the girls were based on mythical birds like phoenixes, harpies or even regular birds; owls, eagles, peacocks etc. All i see is a band. Their costumes are pretty but their theme is not very original 🤨

With this new item it feels like the Hirogaru Sky sub-theme for the items is "the arts", so this new item fits in with the Visual arts. Yeah I get what you mean though, I do see a consistent theme with the wings though!
