Thank you very much, these are the small but nice and important tips that make my life safer. When my counterpart tried to strangle me with my uniform tie while on duty, I then switched to a dummy with an elastic band. I learned the hard way...👍👮♂

Oh man, it sounds like a rough time! The strategies people come up with, when they are desperate, unreal!

Wise and thoughtful video. I have known 3 people who lost fingers due to metal wedding rings. I wear cheap stone or glass rings. Non-conductive and break easy if placed in tension (broke several - but easier and less cost than to replace a finger). Thanks for taking time to make this video it may save somebodys finger.

I never thought about stone or glass as material for a ring. But from a safety perspective, it makes total sense to me. Thank you for adding another alternative! Cheers!

I build emergency vehicles by trade and I've seen fabricator's get their long hair get sucked into drill presses and electrician's weld their wedding bans to their fingers. That quick minute of doing a personal safety check will save you a lot of pain! My wife totally understands that my wedding ring is only on when I'm not at work or in my woodshop!

You can't be careful enough! The time you save by rushing things and not thinking about your safety is not worth risking your health and life-long consequences. Unfortunately, most of us have to learn this lesson the hard way, but experiences like yours are a good reminder and hopefully prevent some nasty injuries! Thank you for commenting!

Been wearing a silicone ring for years. You can see it in most of my videos.

I don't know why I never heard of them before, but I am glad I discovered them now! It is nothing short of a miracle that I still have all my fingers!
